Good point Ella, maybe we will all come join you on that board to discuss the issues and demerits of that company and their projects. Lets do that!
We aren't invested obviously, but I am sure all of us can share negative opinions, negatively bias assumptions and research, generally constantly berate the company, management and assets, and look for issues. Im sure if we all do that we can probably expect to be warmly received by everyone....right?!?

I'm not sure that he didn't discuss it as he has info from the drill that is known but not yet released.
My personal view is that Ben has talked about the KSZ predominantly for a long time, and has nothing additional he can answer until the drill does it's thing which won't be long away.

So IMO Ben is probably being sensible/astute and discussing plans on other targets to show kav have more than one active prospect and give that exposure it deserves too.

We'll know more within the next week either way, albeit we may need to wait for assays I'd like think if we do hit, it's likely to be visible.

Shareprice has factored in pretty much nothing ATM though. Certainly not any potential success. Despite the PR and despite being in the right postcode (bots and Namibia) will be and are beginning the new frontier for discoveries over the next few years IMO.

Metalhead, yes it's all based on best guess and realistically no one can say an exact day with confidence as stuff happens.

That said we know the Company estimates it will intercept the B1 Conductor between 525m and 575m. We also know they were at 410 and drilling approx 20 metres a day several days ago.

So I think we can make fairly informed opinions now (albeit still am assumption) that we will hit the estimated depth of any potential conductor@ 525-575 at the earliest the very end of this week but for my money over the weekend or early next week.

It's certainly days away not weeks, all being well with the drill.

Sadly we can not be as sure on what they find but worse case is it's not what they theorise and we move to one of the various other targets.

We also have much other news due very soon so other than the obvious b1 drill updates I think we can expect...

1. petro/assay soon from first drill cores
2. news of a potential second rig and drill plan... Maybe to the GRS?!?
3. After this hole - rig mobilisation to ditau and associated news/pr
4. further analysis of the GRS

Even if it's not what we hope on this drill the news and targets are incredible here right..

I'd rather buy on low confidence than on a spike that's all I know. Easy to follow the tide harder to swim against it.
All anyone can do is have faith in their research and their strategy. Not be concerned unless that changes.

I think what is important is an open mind by investors tbh in that KAV may well need the time to determine what they have drilled. Hopefully something visible to report will be great.

Also, KCB to go at so not short of options. Quite the opposite.

Personally my portfolio would be impacted materially on any move down but my personal strategy is more conviction based than diversification. Won't get them all right but don't need to if the risk reward ratio is strong enough. I can even get most investments wrong and make a profit (albeit thankfully I don't).

My strategy with kav is hold. If it drops I'll stay measured, assess why but likely add on weakness as other investments allow / enable.

Fingers crossed I won't have the chance to add more here though but can only wait.

Firstly investing and risk is a personal thing. So right and wrong is subjective IMO.
I have a lot more than 3-5% of my portfolio here but I have an element of protection in that I have a decent average plus my position is in a pension pot I've done very well in, and have time to hold as can't retire for some time.

Regarding ADV I have genuine empathy for those who are struggling following those loses.
It does demonstrate what can happen. Personally i believe if KAV don't hit a target then we will likely see a drop, albeit not at the level of ADV IMO.

For the reasons above though I'm going to hold my position for news. KAV also have the benefit of multiple assets and targets so it's not the same as ADV.

I'm still hopeful of a find but open minded. Had the stock risen more ahead of results I may have taken some of my position off the table but not at this price. Even with no result from this drill I think kav are worth this price. It's still early in their journey and I like a lot about KAV.

No harm in taking some off the table if you feel exposed though. Must always be your own decision.

Personally I'd rather capital reinvestment and capital growth via increased shareprice and advancement of the asset, than an income stock.
Just my personal preference though ATM.

Cox. Understood and clearly any experienced investor doesn't discount the macro environment and impact be it political, geographical, financial. Etc

That said this price is still cheap and I see money thrown at numerous high risk investments and many overvalued companies every day.
As I say I'm fine with it, albeit baffling.

I'll rejoice in upside and add at any downside.

No one can say the share price has gone wild in anticipation can they... baffling.

The risk reward here is significant at just over 20 million mcap.
Even if all this positive looking data on the current drill leads to nada at this stage, we should be at this value without the data, given the amount of ground we have in the postcode we are in.

I came across KAV some time ago. I narrowed my focus to copper, with electrification demand, underinvestment in exploration and potential supercycle etc.
I searched all stocks focused on LSE and researched tens of companies and ruled out most based on my personal investment experience.
So I felt fortunate to be able to build a position at such a low valuation in KAV but the fact we are not higher ATM is crazy.

To me IF KAV find what they/we hope gloves are off and strap in.
If they don't find then the share price hasn't really shot away in anticipation so yes it will drop, maybe sharply, but IMO if people are happy to hold for longer the price will recover.

KAV have such prospective areas at just over 20 million it's ridiculous to me.

I'd prefer a hot on this drill for sure but I won't run too the hills at a miss.
