I don't see the DD on the company and assets being a massive job here given they've done this already over an extended period. Especially given the good deal ARC managed to obtain plus engagement with top officials in Zam.
It's more likely paperwork shuffling and final smaller what if contractual conditions being passed back and forth.
Won't be long and certainly can't see how casa is a factor in any of it.

F29 and Kully, regarding Remy, exactly. That is also a factor as to why I strongly think best case is higher. However as said, that depends on various factors.
FWIW I'd agree F29 if it got to that stage we would likely be offered a deal on it all.
I can't wait for AA to drill the areas like Swiss cheese. They'll need to to spend the commited cash.

Tomyra I think that's a fair expectation.
Although IMO best case of multi tier one id expect more upside tbh. As you point out this deal is very similar to GGP, albeit IMO ARCM deal is slightly better.
GGP is a good one to compare against from 2019. Their share also dipped after deal then rose on drilling and results etc.
Obviously GGP have 3-4x shares in issue of ARCM.
So imo I agree we 'should' rise ahead of confirmation and drill plan/commencement RNS(s).
Then it's down to the results. I like to manage my expectations but best case if multi tier ones I'd expect higher than 50p tbh. But no guarantees of course and it's the risk we take.
Downside has been reduced with the cash element of the JV and pending transactions of non core assets.
Next news up will be finalised JV, drill plan and commencement, casa update, acquisition of more area in Zambia and a plan for Botswana, and then drill results rolling in.
Hopefully this will be all good and sufficient to maintain shareprice growth for us all.

I know from contact with NvS on 12th May they were looking to get started in a few weeks ..so I anticipate news on it all in the next week or so.

As you say though the drill will be the key here and if AA are happy to make such a good deal for ARC at this stage, I'm certainly happy.

As an investor I totally understand your point strummer but on the flip side realistically they can't link bonuses to shareprice as while their good work can influence a sharepric, sadly many other factors also can.
That wouldn't be a practical or fair way to assign a bonus structure.
As to the bigger question of the bonus itself that's a different subject. I can see the pros and cons.

Following the interest, uncertainty and theories flinging around I've been engaging with Ben on the situation to understand it better. I've been advised it's okay to share this on here. So below is a copy of the position from my conversation with Ben, word for word....

'Shorts tend to take a portfolio approach, so it’s nothing personal towards Kavango

Private shorts must disclose positions >0.5% of the issued share cap. Market makers have other exemptions but have to apply for these in advance

A week last Friday I got an unsolicited approach from a broker who I believed is connected to parties that short, offering to put money directly into Kavango

I’d already noticed suspicious trades

Over the Bank Holiday weekend the telegram group lit up with intense personal attacks on the company and me

On Tuesday and Wednesday the “selling” accelerated and looked like it was being deliberately done to pull the price back

I acted on Friday to do the raise

The raise was then leaked on Saturday night

On the Monday morning the same broker who had approached me directly sent me an angry message demanding to know why I hadn’t taken his offer

There is more evidence I’m working on gathering. If that plays out I’m going to report this privately to the FCA

These are my private views and Kavango will not issue an announcement about it. I am acting on my own initiative

Worst case scenario I’ve got this wrong but we’ve brought extra money into the company to help see us into next year. The dilution was minimal which is why we didn’t take the full amount offered to us

If I’m right I’ve saved the company suffering severe damage

Nordic Im not suggesting you or anyone is selling. I know not for the very same reasons you articulated.
I'm just saying that warrant holders have several options; sell existing positions in ARCM to enable the exercise of warrants and maintain their positions, buy and hold warrants on top of existing positions, or potentially exercise warrants and sell at an immediate profit. With some other possible permutations in between.
I'm sure some warrant holders will do a number of the above.
Largely I don't really care either way as my positions here for a longer term. I also made the reference to ggp earlier and the rate at which AA will need to mine compared to ARCs historical level of exploration.

I was more thinking warrant holders selling existing ARCM positions above 4p+ to use the funds to exercise the 3p warrants and maintain / add to their existing positions. Others will also just exercise and hold or exercise and sell.
In the grand scheme of things, while all these are possible, I'll sit tight and wait for the real returns.
The market will be influenced by many things short term and then value will be realised and the real gains will be made IMO

Yes crazy. Never expected it to be a smooth ride tbh. Nothing ever is in this game, especially this end of the market. It'll be a choppy ride but I've my seat belt in and staying put.

Yes quite likely a factor for sure, plus general market and those who sold on news all adding to sell pressure.
I know it's not as easy at saying like for like but if you look at GGP 5 year chart, they made a very similar deal in March 2019 and their price dropped before drilling news etc. We know the rest.
I'm not saying it's the same as the drill will tell the story but AA don't make deals like this with a minnow like ARCM, at this stage of exploration, without serious confidence the assets are significant.
Ive plenty invested here really but if it dropped below 4p I'd find it hard not to want to sell other positions to add here.
Its never been a more positive time for ARCM tbh. The shareprice isn't reflective at all. It will be in time.
So given my position and exposure already I'm a strong hold, if I didn't have a decent position I'd be buying as much as I could ATM.
