It's a useful assessment to determine if it should be drilled. That said the assumptions and inputs into the assessment are not massively meaningful i.e while it uses a structured method, assumptive models are clearly just that.

I had the same thought about viability and economics of they found the mineralisation above the IOCG also.
KAV are looking to see if they can hit two birds with one drill in their plans so will see. If they can't find this I'd rather the IOCG was drilled later stages and focus on the other areas / mineralisation. Then go for the IOCG perhaps after shallower drilling and exploration of that area.

Kav have so much to go at it's great and the upside potential here is staggering IMO.
As long as they stay grounded and methodical .

I can't see drilling being next year. But we know your modus operandi already.
They'll want to stick drills in this year for sure.
They'll have to then aim for Swiss cheese for a fair while after to meet the deal obligations.
They'll be planning the collar locations and priority targets and pre requisites while the DD and contracts are be done.
It's all happening concurrently.

Can't be 100% sure. The RNS I believe was on 12th May so you could assume it's from that date b but could have been signed just before and count forward 90 days. It'll basically broadly be 90 days during the second week of August.

Obviously the agreement allows upto a further 90 days for any contract negotiation on the I's and t's in the legals etc. So it could be up to 180 days.

That said we know AA have been around a while. They'll have built some fat into the timescales and AA/ ARCM are chomping at the bit to get going ASAP.

Yes JP but the strike price for the initial 60mil to POW is 3p. With the warrants being much higher.
So the initial sum cost of 60mill at 3p is okay at only £1.8 million.

Especially as the other warrants will generate kav cash and POW will only reasonably exercise if they'll be in the money. Therefore I'm happy with the deal. Worse case we got it at reasonable level given the independent value assigned to it, and given the current share price is much lower than the deal.
Also the 3p shares are tied in for 12 months.
Even if POW sold the 60million in 12 months to buy the warrants it'll still cost then more on net as the strike price is much higher.

Obviously if they did sell it would cause an overhang but like I say for the full dilution to be applicable the KAV price will be much higher than today anyway for us shareholders

How did that positioning make you feel as it's how you come across. I actually think that's a fair statement though, but I'd rather say I disagree with you as neither us or you can determine any evidence unless we contacted every seller and gathered details on why they sold.

You thinking way too much into the company going to quarterly reporting.
The fact you say you haven't seen any reasons given by people on here as to quarterly reporting is a good, and the tone you write your messages in, really tells me you're stubborn and overconfident in your thinking.

FWIW my view on the move to quarterly updates is positive i.e. it's the company saying they've now moved to a more stable operating environment and as such as comfortable they will maintain and improve from this baseline.

Some may want monthly updates, as I say that's a preferential thing but to me (as outlined above) the fact they've moved to quarterly is an indication of progress they've made.

Yes this isn't the KSZ report it's announcing the extra two targets in addition to the known high priority B1.
KSZ report will be more detailed and as per interview is awaiting a nickel specialist report to be incorporated.
Regarding a JV I'm certaintly not expecting a major JV at this stage, based on interviews to date. While BT is clearly in discussions with parties I think these are a work in progress and tbh in terms of negotiating the best outcomes for KAV and shareholders I personally hope no JV occurs just yet.
Run some more TDEM and hopefully a drill into the centre of the more defined B1 conductor first at least would be my preference.

Some beefy RNS' that need a read again by me I think but on initial look my thinking is....
I agree the cumulative dilution of around 135million shares or around 30% may seem high BUT....
The majority of these are warrants to be exercised at much higher prices than we can choose to buy in at today.
The cost on first glance by me seems to be the 60 million shares, then the rest will only matter if warrants exercised at higher prices.
It means we have a strategic investor with a chunk of stock that is unable to be sold during the 12 month lock-in.
If POW don't exercise the warrants the dilution is much less.
If POW exercise their warrants then we have little to worry about when we can buy at this price and they effectively contribute money to the company.
It's not the case that KAV find 100% of the monies should the bulk of the dilution be exercised by the warrants.
It's all part of a bigger lens that BT and co are looking at IMO

Not sure I've read anything that specifically says one or the other for that specific hole JP. Obviously (as you're probably aware) Ditau campaign is targeting / prospective for both REE and base metals so I'd imagine it's potentially both.

Legal I agree it was a good presentation and Ben did well to hold frustrations back. Personally I think the reasons Ben has had to keep discussing the POC is because he is getting asked questions that show many don't understand the process here.
Hopefully many see the point he has now tried to reinforce. That being, they have sand cover over the ground. That's good as it's meant less exploration has been done in many areas and has meant KAV have managed to get acces to and a strategic hold on these under explored areas/licenses.
However its challenging as they have no visibility of surface other than sands and therefore the models have been built on new techniques, required multiple exploration methods and more assumptions.
While the high siemens is encouraging and could have led to hitting a mineralised area during early stage POC KSZ drilling (which was obviously a hope all investors had) IMO I always felt Ben reiterated it's a POC primarily to validate and to refine their models.
They strategically drilled into what they modelled was the conductor in the KSZ with a hope it may be an early win but ultimately they identified it was actually two targets. Foremost though it was always a POC hole.
All that aside they've moved onto the next stage now as they take this data and feed it into their understanding and identify targets. Which obviously takes time to build in and then plan around.
As they define plans and drill to target mineralisation and discoveries next it will be an exciting time. Hopefully the market conditions pick up before this gets underway in ernest.

My cautious lower prediction for the month was 629 but this was assuming only 27 days at lower grade material.
If they hit 1350 for full 30 days at 96% recovery and 1.8% it would be circa 700 and at 2% around 777.
They can certainly hit the target as they get the higher grade material assuming they don't blend it etc.
We know they are aiming for 2% grade so as long as we get consistency of feed volume through the plant and no significant downtime it's fine IMO.
I think June may be 629-650 but then improve as they use higher grade etc. But clearly the cake show they can and may hit above 700-800.

Just have too wait and see the results really

I believe the rights to mine diamonds and metals on the same areas can be held by different companies at the same time. Rather than all rights to all things being granted for an area.
I also think I recall it being said before that there isn't much info shared between them when it was previously mentioned that the diamond explorers had been drilling within one of the same areas.
There may be some benefits in doing so of course but just saying I don't think they do.

Hi Stan,Yes Ben has said there is interest but that's it's still a bit too early for the majors. It's clear Ben has, or is in the process of forming, a partnership model of sorts.
It will certainly be interesting to see who and what for etc.
Ita likely to be with small to medium fish ATM but that can change as, when, the assets are explored etc.

Personally I also believe it best to try strengthen our hand before any major gets involved as otherwise we'll have little leverage to negotiate hard.
Juniors can get decent deals but takes a long time and IMO it would almost certainly be better further down the drill campaigns on our assets

Yes I connected the fact it's Rothschild and the 6 months, the fact Zam are seeking for in eatment more from majors and the growing increase in activity, and the state owned ZCCM element but still not sure ive cracked the Fulmar enigma code :)
