Remember a Leopard never changes his spots so clearly Fortissimo is currently out and wants to get back in lower! Nothing wrong with this as it's not illegal but very disingenuous and certainly not a person to be trusted!

That's exactly my point Add. This goes back years! I'm fully supportive of the new team led by PS & DV. This I'll thought out "Fee" in no way detracts or diminishes what we have at Cascabel. Tandy, Pov and a handful of other exciting prospects! So worst case the Mining Minister doesn't scrap or dilute his "Fee" plans in which case we run with our "Crown Jewels" and ditch the rest which any Junior Miner would give their right arm for! Or the ill thought out "Fee" is scraped and we continue with our plans which I assume includes"Explore Co"? Either way Solg is still worth many many multiples of it's current suppressed SP and I'm confident that value will out and PI's will get their long awaited and much overdue payday! Stay strong everyone and don't let anyone persuade you to part with your "Golden Tickets" as they are and will be truly life changing!

RK - My criticism isn't focused on recent decisions it goes back years when our SP was probably at that time in the 30's giving us better financing options including the much touted splitting of the business which at that time would have been financially much more palatable and workable. How many times have we heard PI's frustration at the lack of activity across the regional confessions? Many many times and not just recently! I rarely if ever criticise Solg as I normally can't see the point and with PI sentiment can be self destructive! However this situation is something which could and should have been avoided and it started years ago!

Add - I couldn't agree more that this "Fee" is I'll thought through by the Mining Minister and will lead to disinvestment in the Mining Sector rather than the other way around! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that explorers have no income so apart from taking on debt ( in all it's various forms) how on earth can a junior explorer raise such fee's! Someone at the Mining Ministry has come up with this bird brained idea as a way to raise some quick bucks while at the same time flush out explorers who are doing bu££er all with their concessions while losing sight of the fact that it will have a detrimental effect on the sector in more ways than one! It's ironically a bit like Rachel Reeves wealth tax designed to raise more taxes but flawed as some if them will simply pack up and move somewhere else! Politicians, who would have em!!

As I said previously Sold only have themselves to claim. They have sat on their hands for far too long doing practically nothing with most of their concessions so it's not surprising that this has finally bitten them on the a£se!

In many ways you can't really blame the Government for losing patience and basically creating a "Fee" which if not significantly reduced or pulled will force Solg to hand back most of it's un-drilled portfolio. However I agree with you Add that this might be no bad thing as it will make us Uber focused on what remains and focus is something over the years that Solg have lacked!!

Very strange then that it's only appearing on LSE and as I've noticed it isn't a one off as there have been other days recently with reported trades dating back 2 years!

Can anyone explain why LSE is showing around 40 old trades all relating to 2023/24 totalling just short of 700k shares? This isn't the first time this has happened in the last few days! Very odd!

Maybe Solg have been the architect of their own downfall in that we have got the most acreage and concessions but we are doing nothing with the large majority of it! This must really frustrate the Ecuadorean Government who want companies to explore and drill but we have just sat on our hands for several years now! This new tax if it goes ahead will force Solg and other juniors who are sitting on concessions they aren’t actively exploring / drilling to reevaluate their portfolio and possibly relinquish some of them which may be what is behind this new tax proposal?

Stas, I welcome your pragmatic mathematical analysis focused on the significant upside potential for Solg's SP rather than all the doom and gloom spouted by others! Such a refreshing change which I'm sure is welcomed by most on this board!

It certainly makes you think there might be a lot of truth in the heading and given the number of likely license approvals by late this year / early next there is a decent probability that before we need to draw on Tranche 2 we could be the subject of an offer or offers? Guess only time will tell but it's as likely as any of the other scenarios
