Yeah great to see you posting again Pads! One of you is worth a hundred HappyClapperHarrys on this board so hope you stick around which is more than can be said for the aforementioned infestation who I dispatched to my trusty trash can some time ago and would urge all the good folks on this board to do the same! He really isn’t worth your time or effort responding to!
For someone who CLAIMS to hold 500,000 shares Zoros has a strange way of conducting himself on this board by constantly running the company down including his latest rant about the judgement by the constitutional court of an exploration project partly owned by CGP where he tries to infer this could impact Cascabel despite the article in question stating quite clearly that Cascabel has all the necessary permits unlike the CGP project! Zoros is one of the most untrustworthy posters on this BB and as I have pointed out on a number of occasions is disingenuous and an out & out narcissist! 500,000 shares my ar** he clearly isn’t currently invested in Solg and would like the SP to decline so he can line his pockets at any cost even if he has to scr&w other good folks to do it! What a low life you are Zoros! Previously had you filtered and back into my bottom crawling trash can you go!
Me thinks tis you who need to put your glasses on Z!
This decision does not affect the Cascabel project, as Cascabel is not in a protected forest and is already in the advanced (economic evaluation) stage of exploration and has an environmental license obtained after prior community consultations were undertaken pursuant to terms of reference approved by ME
Just for clarity and accuracy Quady highlighted the 0.16% cut off grade but failed to mention that this was purely for the Open Pit ore and in fact the Underground ore has been estimated using a cut off grade of 0.28% which is a higher cut off grade than Alpala which uses 0.21% as the cut off. So in my book at best he was being economical with the truth and at worst he was being purposely misleading!
If I recall correctly this isn’t the first time you’ve been on this board spreading doom & gloom and the last time you did it a number of posters called you out for it including me! You were and still are so transparent with a clear agenda to sow doubt and discord hoping the SP will drop so you can pick some up some shares on the cheap! What makes me laugh is you are clearly not invested in Solg and yet you come on here spouting your bias negativity in the hope of feathering your own nest! I just hope that all the other good folk on this board recognise you for the Charlatan you are and put you in the trash can as I have!
When I first read the article I didn’t for one minute think that Solg were being paid $430m by the Ecuadorean Govt but rather that Solg had agreed to pay this sum to Ecuador over a period of 10 years. Nevertheless this did quicken my pulse as it is a massive endorsement of Solgold by Lasso’s Government demonstrating their approval of our plans for Cascabel which must surely point towards a very positive PFS which they most likely have been privy to! IMO this is excellent news for Solg and it’s investors
Why in heavens name you want BHP to gain more influence over the board and Solg I have no idea! If you are indeed invested in Solg ssmith-trader you might as well go outside and throw yourself under a bus as this is the likely outcome for your investment in Solg if BHP gain control of the board!
IMHO BHP don’t want the present board to continue their tenure as the current policy is to fund raise Alpala construction with as little equity raising as possible which effectively prevents BHP gaining a stranglehold on Solg so they can aquire us relatively cheaply! We all need any bid to represent fair value for our investment and it’s as clear as day to me that BHP are doing everything they can to avoid such an outcome which is why I will support the current board at the AGM
DBW - As highlighted by another poster yesterday I believe this article has got its wires crossed and misreported what was clearly articulated in the RNS ( see extract below)
At the Company's last AGM less than a year ago, on 17 December 2020, Shareholders approved the re-election of two Directors and the election of four newly appointed Directors. At this year's AGM, scheduled for next month, I propose that the three directors who did not stand for re-election last year namely myself, the SolGold Chairman, Non-Executive Director Brian Moller and Jason Ward, SolGold's Executive Director in charge of operations in Ecuador, retire by rotation and stand for re-election pursuant to the SolGold constitution.
Our Company's interim CEO and Executive Director Keith Marshall has also requested to be put forward for re-election at next month's AGM to seek confirmation and endorsement of his contribution from Shareholders. As such I have added Mr Marshall to the roster for re-election meaning Shareholders will be asked to vote on the re-election of four (4) Direactors
Voting in support of BHP would be akin to voting for death by a thousand dilutions! With BHP / NCM in control how do you think they will raise the necessary finance to bring Alpala to production? You might as well put King Herod in charge of the nursery!! IMHO Anyone who thinks voting against the board in support of BHP is letting their emotions and frustration get in the way of pure simple common sense! Yes we are all frustrated by the lack of news but throwing the baby out with the bath water is definitely not the solution no matter how hacked off you may feel!
My take is that if BHP don't succeed and our current board remain intact then its game on for possible corporate activity in 2022 with the likelihood of a good pay day for shareholder's! However is they succeed then and manage to get a board which is more compliant to their wishes then in all likelihood shareholder's won't get their fare payday! So for me it's quite simple. Support Twigger and get a board who will stand up to BHP and get us fare value or don't and accept a fate which won't be anywhere near as rewarding
Liking their opening strapline on an article about Cascabel and the latest find at Tandy
The Cascabel copper-gold project, 180 km north of the capital Quito, may become one of the largest copper-gold porphyry systems ever discovered.
Thanks once again RK for voicing our questions / concerns to members of the Board and giving your take on the responses albeit in a very censored manner for understandable reasons. Like others I am frustrated that to a large extent we are still in the dark despite your efforts so can I ask you specifically based on what you heard this morning “Are you still happy to be invested in Solg and were you left feeling optimistic/ positive about the future”? Many Thanks
Exactly DBW! And let’s not forget what they highlighted in the RNS on 10th Sept
Hole 24 has encountered intense mineralisation within an early quartz-diorite intrusion from 507m depth. This zone is interpreted as an extension of the strong mineralisation encountered in Hole 13 and includes up to 85% B-type quartz-chalcopyrite veining with approximately 2% visible chalcopyrite and trace visible gold mineralisation.
So still waiting on assays from hole 24 which could really move the dial on the overall resource!
