It used to be 25% of mine, too, but now it is more like 10% and ranking 4th, headed by well established mainstream miners. TGA was 25% at that time, now 30%, but I too trust the fundamentals and expect BEN to come back to the top of my holdings.

Perhaps that is the answer. Wait until all the permits and equipment is in place, then scrap the ESG stuff. That is a concern of western civilisation (which has little impact on any eventual effect) and of no concern to people struggling to have a better standard of living, and they will drive which way the wind blows. As UK is on its way to becoming a third world country, maybe we should adopt the attitudes appropriate. I want to use energy, and I want it available for me. There are no caves round here for me to live in, and there are no mammoths left to skin, so I would like gas coming through the pipes and and electricity down the wires.

"Overweight" implies a comparison with an average. If you think the share has better than normal prospects, then you SHOULD be overweight, and if considerably better than normal, then heavily overweight. TGA is by biggest holding by current value, but I expect BEN will get up there eventually.

pop31 - a great idea, and thanks for the videos. I shall from here on be saying it differently. The second video gave the impression the "g" is not a hard English g but more like the Flemish g that to me (English) is a cross between a "g" and an "h". I will have no trouble with the "Toon" part as my son supports Newcastle football club !

Interesting question. I expect with its Dutch roots it should be pronounced as you say, but with the "oo" as in "book" rather than "root", a hard "g" as in "goat" rather than a "dj" as in "jelly", and "e" as in beck rather than as in "mete", and finally the accent on the first syllable. Nevertheless I go full English and call it "thun" as in thunder, still with a hard g, "ela" as in potato peeler, and the accent on the second syllable.

This seems to be a problem, particularly for a share like this. I can't really see why it is allowed, and why when I pay my nominee broker to hold my shares he is permitted to rent them out (for profit) to shorters to my detriment. Unethical, and it should be illegal.

I have no objection to someone going to betting shops (eg Ladbrokes, Betfred) and taking odds on the price dropping, but that is completely different.

Good to see the SP back at its best! But to catch up with inflation there is a way to go yet :)

I would have thought a moving average would be described as "variable" rather than "fixed.

jjhbev : find yourself an old fashioned broker who will charge you an extortionate amount to do a joint "bed and breakfast" on your nominee shareholding and give you an old-fashioned share certificate. Then you can not pay the withholding. As far as I know it is the only way.

Red flags : no financial statements, over-reliance on subcontractors, share price dropping by two thirds. If I didn't believe in the prospects I would have sold yonks ago. Faith is indeed needed.

You can always buy shares at any time. If you mean "pre-split" shares, I think you have up to the 18th:
