Good to see this climbing again, i dont think it will ever hit the low it has hit in the last year again, not sure how far this could rise in the nxt few weeks, maybe 40p in 12 months time? have been doing my research and getting my opinion out there.......
satisfied with the results released today. finally some stability for the group, and a point from which to move forward, let the three core businesses grow, and over time as the economy gets better, see the group go full circle, and have the fair share price it deserves
yep it is disappointing, shouldnt have dropped this low. but with the group being stremlined now, it can better focus on going forward bringing the best out of the most profitable parts of the group, that were kept. across the country and the world things are bad. the group wont go under, but the economic rough patch itsnt doing any favours. im confident the price will rise again. not to former prices of near £4, but a price of £1.50 would better reflect the group portfolio now, compared to back then, and with some very good companies still in the group i feel this price would be achievable, its simply a waiting game. long term only. at this price i would buy if you havent already got some, a good long term gamble to take i think, im hoping for 40p for start of 2011
yes there hasnt been much movement for a bit, but with this share not many judgements can be made of little movements like this, especially when you consider whats happened over the last 6 months. but i do think it should start to move upwards and be more positive. gaining momentum nearer aug 29 when the rights issue of new shares etc gets sorted. the company has been sorted out a lot in the last few months and the current price does not reflect. sure to start doing better as a company ,as we should see when next annual results come out. until then the share should start to grow with the confidence of the people involved with the share and the company. i estimate 65p by november
Im here, more of an observer at the moment though, patience is key! Used this as another oppourtunity to buy some more JSG shares, in big now, well for me anyway, and I have every confidence in what is happening. Orwell, I'm not exactly a pro at knowing a lot of info, as in, the rights issue, what is actually going to happen? and how will the current shareholders get there fair share, since new cheap shares are being issued?
150m new shares to be issued at 20p each to raise 30m http://www.citywire.co.uk/personal/share-prices-and-performance/announcement.aspx?AnnouncementID=928909
Johnson Service Group PLC notifies the London Stock Exchange that it will be announcing its preliminary results for the year to 31 December 2007 on Tuesday 29 April 2008. Sorry Orwell, but dnt think apparel will be sold! You down at mo? I'm in this till i see £1.00! Want some massive profits, may as well call it long term.
erm, i dont think they will, its there core business, cant afford to sell it, will just have to go with the expected 120 mill debt. banking is secured for 2 to 3 years. this should go up come end of april i expect? poss slowly up till then??
Dimensions buy out, and jsg to go to aim. expect this share to ride a little more i expect. http://www.jsg.com/news/news/?newsArticle=127
Don't think it will happen, but anything is likely. Most likey to buy would be the company that bought ccm off johnsons a few weeks ago 'alsico'. With Apparelmaster seperating its IT dependancy from the service group, and the departure of a director recently, you'd say yes its being sold. But apparelmaster is the service groups no 1 money maker. Depends how serious the situation with the 170mill is to whether they would sell there best asset. Shares may jump if a sale, but cant see more than 40p. Though there are aslo rumours of a dimensions buy out, where the board of dimensions would buy the company along with 2 other companies owed by the service group. For example if this happend and apparel master went, the debt would probs be wiped out. Though how would JSG go forawrd making money with not many soild companies to make the profit?
johnsons to sell apparelmaster?? http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/markets/article3716543.ece
Mark my words this stock will rise, its only a matter of time. Depending on a deal concerning a number of the companies within the service group being bought. I do not know if this will be this week, or in 3 months, but it will certainly happen. I'm holding out for £1.00 by 2009. If you want a cheap stock, for a short to medium term hold I would strongly advise now. While its still at a very low price.
