How do you explain the precipitous drop in sp before the war began? Surely institutions were given the nod that something bad was being planned by the FCA, before dumping stock. Could the institutions have miscalculated? So far it seems so. Many, including me think the market overreacted, and 60p was a bargain. If known in advance, this temporary suspension wouldnt cause a 90% drop in sp. So what would? Fear of something worse most likely. For the reasons many have stated, i cant see how this can be delisted, but the drop suggests some bad news may still be pending?

Russia is to invade Ukraine if you believe the mainstream media. How might this impact oil and gas prices. Will the market get scared and sell off? Fwiw im more concerned about a general sell off. If oil or gas supply is affected, this would surely support prices.

It had to be backhanders for the big boys surely. Looking back at the SP movements throughout the offer period, its clear some knew what the top offer would be, and were able to buy up to the offer level, surely on the understanding they would agree the offer. I think it stinks, but hey, thats the way it works.

This has been covered. Suggest you take a look back at some of Shahktar's posts. Essentially yes you will be able to sell. The final offer price is acting like a magnet because of simple arbitrage, as the risk averse sell at anything higher.
1pm friday is the offer deadline. No news until then is surely good news for those holding and expecting a big uplift in short order if the offer fails.

Should the Nova offer fail to reach the required 75% acceptance, will it be terminated on 9th April? And in your experience, what other options would Nova then have to take the company private?
It seems that the higher market price may prevent them doing so?

On balance, I agree. The requested merger has come as a surprise, and the funding to complete it means dilution of my position. This isn't terribly bad, but its the additional resolutions for further discretionary issuances that worry me. Ive read and seen rhe presentations which I dont find extremely compelling. Shooting for p1 as planned. GLA
