I think you all underestimate Hopeless. It's his day job.
He strikes me as someone who knows when to push hard....but just pull back in time, before treading on the land mine.

Earsbern....what about the argument that bod knew exactly why he became director all along.....and that of course he wouldn't follow the usual path of a director...as he was there solely to safe guard outrider interests,and offer financial advice, and assistance where beneficial.

I don't enjoy playing devils advocate...but...I do feel better being told I'm wrong when I do...if you get me.
So here goes again....

Goit ..your 14:45 and15:41 posts....good reply...but what if Hopeless stands up in court, under oath, and just says he didn't trust the other board members to pay up when they got the Durham loan, as they had let outrider down before,..and says....they would of squandered it on trying to keep a dead corpse(frr) alive...paying wrong people first,drilling more non productive wells,etc.. .....and in doing lose more money...so his notes wouldn't, he decided, get paid on time...if at all.

God knows why I'm writing this....but ... it's got to be better to see what's coming from the other side...don't you think ?

Totally understandable. I try not to be....but as you know...5 months off the market has forced us, or should I say me,to do things I wouldn't of had to of done, if shares were still tradable.

I think Hopeless will argue that his directorship was always about safeguarding Outrider investments,and this was well known to all at Frontera from the outset, and that he hasn't tried to harm company, but actually tried to help it here and there. Any actions thought to be untoward were only to protect his investment.
So.....will he get the book thrown at him ?
Or...under the circumstances....just a slap on the wrist.

Personally, due to my own hardship caused by all this, I want frr to win damages claim, and Hopeless kept in a small room for a long time....but is that likely ?

If we knew whether asset was moved by frr to another part of company with Georgian approval.....that would possibly eliminate the possibility of Hope/GGC link of any kind .

The way I see it....
Liquidators have extra powers if solvency is not stated, and books handed in, by 29th May.
With what our lawyer's have been saying today......I would be surprised if we haven't communicated to liquidators that we are solvent.
If we haven't....they will pursue us in Cayman's courts for the debt.
Liquidation process is completely independent of Cali case....is it not ?
