Yes doldrums is fitting statement but if caught in the doldrums a good skipper would change course to pick up favourable trade winds or if that's not possible....fire up the engine.

Hi Cobalt...I've got to agree with you that the BOD have not done us any favours.

But neither have one or two high profile investors.

Doing their best to short with an objective of wrecking the sp and sitting on the side lines for a cheap reentry on a buddy/buddy basis.....and hopefully val's management and Adams business expertise they can now scupper the spiral of death placing that one or two were hoping for.

Once this message has been received loud and clear via a decent result on any one of the trials and income from the lab/saving on current lab fees, I personally believe that Vals team, along with our Adam will play the winning hand....and kick the wreckers out of touch.

I also believe that, given the situation at the time of kicking GM out, we threw Suzy in the deep end and she had to learnt fast, via a baptism of fire...

She accepted her role and, chosen well to protect it, with the refreshed expertise, which she now has on board.

I genuinely think she has the respect of her peers and will surprise us all with a decent up date next month.

Hope you are OK too....Yes, I've learnt quite a bit recently and can appreciate further the potential of not just developing treatments but making them patient specific, rapidly and flexible for rapid modification ...as far as I'm concerned Val now has that potential or first call if in time they float the lab/labs...on that last point I would support increasing the laboratory to 2/3 if self supporting revenue was achieved. Sorry for poor reply as Im thumbing my phone screen whilst in a contorted position in the old yacht....forgot to remove opened bacon and sausages which along with stale bread has spread fungi into and through the drain of my fridge...bloody well stinks. returning to the topic...I'm increasingly impressed as to how well the lab and val team are prfressong with support from Adam...Common purpose and, as a shareholder, I couldnt ask for more .

My last post is very basic...and can probably lead to debate for and against...but as a humble long time retired engineer..I have to approach this .subject in simple terms ...hopefully I've got it right but as I say I'm personally bullish and recommend dyor as the brighter of you will gain much more from Martins paper

...the new potentially successful approach to developing successful drugs is to develop them alongside to/ mand meeting the needs of patients as against generic widely applied drugs which often fail as the data derived is not patient specific... I must say If I had stage 3 cancer I'd be happy to take the risk and have a drug developed and tried on me...but I guess whoever treating me needs to turn round data and formula speedily ...what better then to have access to a laboratory at my fingertips.. I'm feeling really bullish now but as I always say dyor

.....I wanted the val BOD to invest alongside us...In fact I threw my teddy out, but recalling what a different company CEO told me.... although directors may with to buy, they are often not mega rich... often far from it......So if one does splash out, after selling off the family silver and buys stock in the company they run...albeit the SP may rise, if they then have to sell at later point in time the sp may well drop....So its Hobson's choice.....worth remembering.

Sorry to hear that Webbo and I guess I fall into the same category as you....massive losses, primarily during GM/Satu stewardship, but also during the first year of Suzys learning curve.

The only thing that keeps me hanging on is the potential locked within Vals portfolio of legacy lines and the leadership she is now showing through enthusiastic team play.... Guess it was a lot for her to take on, but we wanted Suzy because she is hands on and open,..as recently trated by inviting Adam in .....and actually cross fertilizing skills with a common purpose....Success....not making money, that is an important byproduct for investors.

Trust is so important taking years to build and can be lost in an instant.

So where are we....well the sp has been taken down primarily by one investor is now out of the equation. Our Adam is also a significant investor....but knows the science, is successful in his own right and well respected.

So with Adam continuing to help Val unlock value added initiatives, albeit battle weary, I will continue to trust in the Val team.....

We will soon see which one of us made the right call.

....Guess potential Institutional investors, currently sitting on the fence, will be looking out for further news from val....as the expectation is for val 201 deal this year along with updates on trials/the other legacy initiatives, surely Val should soon be in position to report value added news....I await patiently.... meanwhile vals brand new inaphaea laboratory, complete, and especially, with professional advise from our Adam Hargreaves, must surely be attracting interest from potential large customers....once again please excuse my poor grammer as currently on the hoof..

I await further news with, I have to admit, excitement .... in the meantime, small firm value added steps forward would be appreciated

Thanks for pointing that out PI.. I recently read that US money is migrating into biotech...which surely puts us squarely in the sweet spot...all we need is decent news on any one of our core drug lines, promised during the forthcoming half year updates, and surely the sp will fly.

Just pleased to see decent volume PI....hopefully the day traders might soon look elsewhere for a quick buck.
