Onward and upwards, I hope. I break even at 12p. I hope consolidation amongst the Weald O&G companies. Could it be coming soon?

I don't think it strange what Shell have bought into WoS. It's all part of the picture that is emerging here.

@billybill557, the oil is there, no? Not 100 billion barrels no. Why should UKOG not be a reasonable success eventually? So hard to make an informed opinion on this. This stock seems to have so many trolls following it, it is really hard to form an opinion. I am split here whether to bail out if I break even and look elsewhere.

I break even at 2.5p. I am tempted to think we could be sitting on a moderate success story, I don't really buy into the 100 billion barrels bull. But it seems an age that we're sitting for the real break through to happen. I don't want to trade the stock, I just want the company to emerge as a reasonably successful long term on shore oil production company. How long do we have to wait? I do not know.

But....... Will the Omanis keep their half of the straits open? Or do they not have the means to do this? I imagine the US Navy having something to say about it if the Iranians tried to close the straits 100% unilaterally? Of course, the British Navy would have had a lot to say too, once upon a time. But now it is a pretty toothless ex tiger on the high seas.

All views valid and respected, but Chevron routinely sanction projects of USD 50 Billon or more and run several of them concurrently. HUR is loose change, especially as part of a consortium deal.

They are joining the dots and telling what they see emerging. I have said the same myself, though I see three companies having a joint bid here. BP, Shell and Chevron. A major FFD project could be fast tracked with those guys behind it.

And with Shell's recently licenced acreage virtually surrounding HUR assets, we can see where this headed towards, can we not?

Don't hang your hat on the Ineos hat stand. This is not Jim Ratcliff's style at all. Ineos almost always buys distressed or unwanted assets at a deep discount, often only 30p in the pound. He already has a portfolio of mature gas fields in the North Sea acquired cheaply a couple of years ago. Ineos also more recently acquired old the Forties Pipeline system, these are his style. I can't see Mr Ratcliff investing in Hurricane, but you never know, I would bet against it though.

A bit of upwards momentum behind this stock, very welcome to see at last. I break even at 12p so there's a way to go yet but in AIM stocks that could easily happen in a single session. I am not in it to trade, but I don't like the way we have seen the valuation of a company actually producing oil commercially from the Weald basin wither away to almost nothing.

Originally bought in at 24p, then 15p then 5p. At 24p, I thought they looked like a small but promising, professional on shore oil co. Producing assets, small but producing. So not a vapour ware company by any means. Yet here we are at 4.5p and almost can be said to be a slow but sure free fall. One day, someone is going to buy ANGS with pocket change? I dunno. So - WTF is REALLY going on at ANGS? Something? Nothing? I really don't know.

I'm in AMER @ 19p. It seems a most miserable stock considering the company and its alleged prospects. I'm underwater with this one but I'm out as soon as I break even, I think

Added to my CARD holding at 192p. Missed my chance of a >20% profit a few weeks back by wanting a bit more. Too greedy. @ 192p my entry price is lower and I'll pull the trigger on a 20% profit next time, for sure.

Lurker decided to come out and join in. Bought into this fantastic project around 30p and just increased my holding by 50% at a tad over 47p. Very exciting few months ahead for us at HUR.
