Any sensible buyer will now wait as there is no incentive to close a deal at this stage and it puts them (if they are genuinely serious) to buy it on the cheap. Management need to prove that they are credible, but I hope they don’t take it private as alluded by previous posters as it muddies the waters even more

Yes, E&Y been ousted and replaced- implies cost savings is the reason reading between the line of the rns, but seems unlikely that you would dismiss top 4 firm of accountants and replace with American firm. I get the rountine replacement and resignation of audit firms on their own accord but this sounds as if it was instigated by RENX. I'm sure all will be revealed as the story unfolds.

Unhooked - thanks for clarification and agree its badly written - so they did not disclose it to us but just dealt with it in the background. Question is should they have disclosed? let's hope they get this mess sorted, concern is access to funding going forward if they get removed from NASDAQ.

Not good at all - i was just looking at the rns regarding the nasdaq delisting determination appeal which was rns'd on 25 June 2024, in the 2nd line of the rns it states:

....as previously disclosed, on December 22, 2023, Renalytix plc (the "Company") received two written notices (the "Notices") from the Listing Qualifications Department of the Nasdaq Stock Market LLC ("Nasdaq")

Can anyone shed any light on where this rns is concerning the 22 december 2023 dosclosure as i cannot see it on LSE?? Have they got this right or is the date of disclosure incorrect?

Agree liam1om, this is great news as market and many others were anticipating a nominal value sale . I’m looking forward to continued larger buybacks as management could continue to extend the buyback program if they wished and continue to reduce the free float. All in all great news and let it be digested for rerate.

Now that’s what you call a result, gain on sale of US business and looking forward to a big volume day as news is digested. Fantastic outcome with more big buybacks to come. This now looks very cheap imo and paves the way for a big rerate

Well someone is clearly buying up stock and who can blame them- new impending govt bring in more hospital scanners to tackle backlog, company fully funded and got fda approved product, tie up with big pharma names. Future looks very rosey
