Fowler has made similar statements at virtually every AGM. Always the same disappointment. He won’t walk. It’s a family concern.

Too early to tell. I still had impressive flagship fit for purpose as his most amazing AGM performance. 3 months later, whilst we we waiting for the outcome of project Standby, he declared they’d sold the ferry service. Was he agreeing the sale as he answered that question. Who knows? Anyway so ‘fit for purpose’ it’s still for sale’.

I’m not privy to all the nudges and winks this year - but Ghana the day before the AGM stank like a durian. I can’t get over the decision to commence work there and incur seemingly open ended cost, without a contract. Only WSG!! Then there’s the KuspyKremes - several. Any of which might have happened and been announced at the AGM, allegedly. 1 month on, nowt. Africa. No comment. Iran cryo’.

The MoU’s of indeterminate number and not advanced enough, in any quarter to be used to pump a placing.

I won’t be surprised if we sail through August with nowt. I won’t be surprised if Ghana dies. It won’t be Bumbly’s fault obviously.

If he does sign something, ‘lauded’ won’t be the sentiment in my house. The initial reaction will probably be “you’re joking”. Followed by “about ******* time” and “too little, to late”
