The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
As I have reminded people over the last 10 years nearly this project was never going to not make it …why ? Giles Clarke and first rate management coupled with massive resources. Martin Eales is the deal maker supremo with a track record to match…… it’s very much game on and with 8m in the bank almost certainly secured ,a bright 2022 awaits us. Happy Christmas to all investors here ……………….
Always a pleasure to read your well researched and rational comments. There is little doubt in my mind that Dennis Edmonds is a CEO in a hurry and has an ability to get the job done very quickly. One only has to look at the speed of development of the diamond and HMS enterprises to see this. From his RNS he seems to be saying that over 2022 both the diamonds and the HMS will build up into a very sizeable income earner which will be used for bore holes ,if no third party arrives to finance the pipeline . I will repeat the jewel in the crown is HMS. Possibly only 6 months away. Again so far Edmonds has exceeded all his targets by far so my guess is well less than 6 months as the prize here is glittering example Rainbow. Your take here please Poppyseed…….
Well researched Poppyseed. You are certainly an excellent ferret. ! Just a footnote as I have said before our new CEO is a fast mover ,furthermore he will issue far more RNSs than his predecessor . Our future is secured here. Worth the wait!…………………..
If you believe like I do on the person and their track record then Martin Eales will get closure here. As I have spelt out before Eales was instrumental in concluding Rainbow Rare Earths transformational deal , making it the first rare Earth company to be granted a licence . The company has climbed quickly recently from low pence to over 20p . I have been here 10 years now and share other investors frustration. Once granted the company should grow quickly not least because this is an open cast mine !……………
The track record of Dennis Edmonds speaks volumes for this highly motivated CEO. His style is very different from that of L J . The time scale and professionalism shown starting the diamond business has been nothing short of spectacular. The HMS will be equally impressive. I talked earlier in the year about self funding for the tantalum pipe line and I still believe this could be the route chosen. The growth of this business will be different going forward under the stewardship of Edmonds with shareholders being kept in the picture all the way………………..
As has been highlighted on the Ironveld post site ,the Mail on Sunday are highlighting Rainbow Rare Earth minerals mainly because of the few companies in this market , the Chinese influence is important here. Of course we ,according to Edmonds CEO , should have licence by Xmas to attack our vast excavated pile . £300.000. pm expected. Much larger area licence has been applied for……As I have said before HMS will allow this company to be a game changer
Interesting article which I have read in the paper. Rainbow as I have written about here many times has a huge future ahead. A way into the rare Earth mineral market for anyone like me who sees vast returns on REM is through the other GCcompany ,Kazera Global. The Rare Earth Minerals under K Gs stewardship in N W African coast are just awaiting licence to mine expected by yrs end. The return here when granted is in excess of £300.000 month. To add to this a huge stock pile of excavated rubble speeds this whole process. Other R E M site to mine has been applied for . Vastly larger……………
S 49. I would be extremely suprised to see either of these two deals skewer I accept times are trying but in Irons case MC is one of the best negotiators in the business. In Kazeras case we have two good offers only checked by other larger deals awaiting completion. No, we are as good as there………………….
With both Ironveld and Kazera it is the end of the beginning. For those investing here it’s a difficult call to assess which will add the most value of the two GC companies. Both companies have the right products and the right management. An absolute prerequisite to a successful company. Once the share price responds to a solid news flow the problem will then be to know when to sell and by how much. Investment is not just about buying. Many here are likely to become seriously wealthy and all the years of patience will have been worth the wait…………………….
Turnover for years end should of course read £15.3m not £ 11m……………………………
Are you still on board ? I know you had a large holding here !………..
Update today looks encouraging as we leave the ghastly days of complete lockdown behind us. As I would expect the pub, commercial property and bio sciences leading the way. The rest recovering in line with market expectations. My one slight caveat here the problem of getting more quality pubs on board. Has been an issue from the outset. We shall see. Turnover for years end encouraging at 11m , good under present circumstances. Just to broaden matters both GC companies I and K looking good to go……….
C1 haven’t heard from you for a while!………
Dennis Edmonds tells me that the tantalum ,diamond production and HMS will within the next few months start to produce serious earnings and he seems to be saying funding for the pipeline could be financed in house regardless of a third party. I have no doubt he is not prone to over exaggeration and bases his three month confidence prediction on hard facts. He surely is in the best position to know. Regarding Larry Johnson’s departure we had two very competent CEOs and frankly one of them had to put their head on the block. I do think with Edmonds we shall see a lot more RNSs as we accelerate away from the set up stage to that of a more mature company. The stars here are the tantalum and HMS projects. Both are simply enormous………………… ????
Interesting to see Rainbow , Martin Eales old company which he acquired all the finance and and mining rights and permits for ,now back over 15p after a period of profit taking from over 20p. I have always said ME is the best when it comes to negotiating deals. There is much to look forward to ahead. For the war weary veterans like myself with a ten year investment here ,a very welcome outcome…………….
Make no mistake ,no Martin Eales then probably very little chance of a deal. I have been watching this man a long while right back to Rainbow REM days. He had exactly the same battle then as now. Everybody was saying he hadn’t a chance . He finally got the only REM company to a full finance deal
I would just like to thank Martin and his team for all their efforts well done
I should also like to thank Giles Clarke for without him no Martin Eales. As everybody who reads my posts , I am a great fan of him ,having invested in his companies over many years..
If you read this Giles ,would dearly like to see another Barkby company launched by you namely an English company…………….
Very sad to learn of LJs departure. Not easy to speculate on reason ,it would be sheer conjecture. At the outset he had a vision of expansion and to produce a global company stretching the continents. There is little doubt over his five year tenure he has put up with a hostile physical environment as well as sheds loads of abuse and deflammatory character assassination. I know because I have had to a lesser degree had the same experience. The company however is in very safe hands with Dennis Edmonds and as he has said the next three months will be transformational . I have been writing here for nearly 10 years now and have never once had any doubts where Ironveld and Kazera were going. I again reiterate the the two companies are inextricably linked. They will quite simply bounce off each other. The future ahead for these two GC companies is now assured . …………………..
Now the “ silly season “ is out the way it’s worth reminding ourselves that we are firmly two separate companies with two separate CEOs which inevitably will lead to aggressive competition between the two…..Almost certainly Edmonds will be holding back RNS for a few months to show the results of a period of higher carat production further he will want to waive a license under our noses for HMS…..The HMS project is a game changer and would recommend a read on the Rainbow REM website…..The period till Christmas should culminate in a steady news flow……a rerate here is on the cards…………………..
Ismalia………what seems to have been forgotten by posters is the part being played by our diamond mine in SA…. As at June 4th we were about to become cash generative after several auctions…..Dennis Edmonds as you would expect is a highly respected mining CEO holding two other company chairs….as the last report stated the emphasis to mining a larger cut of diamond would greatly increase the profitability issue…. As I have consistently underlined the license for HMS will be transformational….. one look at Rainbow REM confirms this……yes for me silence is golden we just want HMS and TVM together announced nothing less………………
