Imagine you'd planned to operate a monopoly ferry service, with all the inflated profits that you'd expect from a captive customer, when along came HARL and John Wood.

Might you:

a) Try and ELIMINATE the competition?

b) Lower your expectations of future earnings?

c) Shelve the project and start up elsewhere?

Dodgedness is to be admired and respected. Whereas, fanatism is dangerous and can cost money, jobs, and even whole companies!

Let's hope that JW hasn't surrounded himself with Yes men and can keep a cool head in a crisis!!

Ibmibm. We aren't dependent on the result of a drilling campaign. So, no, there is no reason why the share price will drop to zero. Other than a decision not to turn up with a few diggers and load premium DSO onto a load of lorries!

Steveiom. Might we just be looking at an entity selling all the shares it bought in the last placement?

If so - there's nothing really to see here.

Phillip1976. Fortunately, for me, I wasn't expecting the refinancing deal before April 2024. However, I wasn't aware of the extortionate charges with exiting deal (Sept 23 & Mar 24) until stokey pointed them out the other day. So, hopefully, we see the new finance deal signed, sealed, and delivered, before month end February.

As for bidding for IoS ferries? Can Sir John, and possible consortium partners, really have missed the bidding window boat?
