HH. I recently lost over £7k, on paper, by not jettisoning my shares in HE1. So, trust me when I say that I am fully aware that we are speculating here. That said, we've got more than one PROVEN asset, so it's not like we are at the mercy of the Drillbit (the outcome of the current DFS aside).

Anyways, the reason for my post is that I rarely snipe against fellow posters, but a few nasty bits of work appear IMO deserving in some abuse. Our friend Chris2 being top of my list (comprising a total of two people)!

t_b. you're not wrong, but my guess is that many lths will have averaged down, so will see decent returns.

i'll concede that those who haven't might have to wait until circa 2026 to see 5p plus, but if we actually get mining/selling at han****, the future will be bright for all. provided that they haven't died of old-age in the meantime!

if only we could all be like you, with money to burn. but, unfortunately, life isn't like that!

Stokey. It's not just the Labour Party. Most all western police parties will find money for immigrants. One World Government depends upon the replacement of all culture, customs, and traditions, of nation states.

We are looking at a global totalitarian fascist/communist system unless the masses start kicking back, hard, and soon!

Playingtheodds. You're correct, but I don't like sleight-of-hand. In theory the BoD could have issued an RNS for every significant milestone achieved in the UKEF process.

It didn't because there is circa zero added value in doing so.

We likely only got the most recent RNS because it's close to the process endstage, and the Board were "desperate" to put some news out into the market place.

The RNS had the desired effect, but we still seem a long way from the refinancing finish line!

No doubt The_Bishop selling 14 Million shares when he did helped to bring the share price down. But then, why should he have risked all his money?

Anyways, what's done is done!

How long is this process going to take?

"In order to ensure that the proposed loan facility is compliant with the relevant rules where UKEF was to provide a 100% guarantee to UK commercial lending banks ("Banks"), UKEF will now appoint an independent third party to ascertain an appropriate premium over SONIA. This process will commence in January 2024."

- Third Party commissioned: 2 weeks

- Gateway Review Audit: 4 weeks to completion

- Analysis and results: 1 week

- Banks final decision: 2 weeks

- Buffer period for margin of error: 2 weeks

My back of envelope process list gives us a Finance RNS in about mid March. Hopefully, we get another contract win in the interim!

I'm optimistic about the future, but we're still trapped within the 11p to 15p sine wave because nothing has actually happend.

Ultimately, we are still working within the government's terms of reference, albeit at the final hurdle before the banks need to make a final decision!
