Stokey.Government projects used to have Gateway Reviews to test fitness to proceed to the next stage. So, I'm guessing that Ministerial Approval of our UKEF application will have required one more set of "independent" eyes before funding approval.

Although I expected such a process to take 2 months to complete, I'm guessing that the green light has already been given. Ruling out the possibility of HARL having passed the CEO the digital equivalent of a brown paper bag.

Visiting HARL "before" a decision is made smacks of corruption. Ergo it's a done deal!

I was expecting a team of between one and three independent consultants to go over HARL's funding guarantee application. Who knows if that's been done?

But the fact that UKEF's CEO has visited the site would indicate IMO that we've passed the process with flying colours!

I can appreciate that finance companies don't like gambling with their own money, but I sometimes find it hard to believe that they wouldn't be tempted to stay invested in a potential 20 x bagger, when there ears are so much closer to the ground than ours.

I've only got C. £750 riding here, having "lost" C. £7.2k on paper, so losing a few more quid won't kill me.

That said, I'd sure like to get my money back, and some!
