My definition of a woke weakling, is somebody brought up wearing eye protectors & gloves to play conkers, and who likely wasn't allowed out in the playground in the rain, etc. i.e. people weak of mind/body who aren't likely to endure sitting in the trenches or pull the trigger when ordered to do so!

We currently have a few hundred thousand young men sitting idle in hotels, and the like. How about granting full citizenship to those of them who sign a pledge committing them to train/serve on our warships, and supporting vessels?

Everyone will be happy as we will have crews for our navy; our hotels will once again be frequented by tourists; and our army bases will be filled with wage earners.

Stokey. Methinks that Serco are going to get the contract to recruit Armed-Forces Naval staff. They are also IMO very likely to take us over in the mid-term.

But I make you right. The FSS ships will be built (maybe with the addition of anti-drone technology) because we are likely to see a significant of ships damaged/sunk over the next year or so.

Also, there was a Kurdish women's brigade a few years back, who were boasting of being the best fighters in the Middle East. One day they ran Into a Turkish brigade, without their US/UK Special Forces bodyguard. Basically, that unit no longer exists due to massive casualties!

Scaffman. Aren't ALL military personnel trained in hand-to-hand combat because the assumption it that all of them might be forced into close quarter combat with the enemy?

Pilots, in particular, likely have to face these potential hazards.

It's not like worrying about how you might look on a zoom call.

The problem is that there are only about 5% of women capable of fighting hand-to-hand against male soldiers. As for fighting against Special Forces soldiers! So, why are Western armies watering down standards to accommodate them?

This isn't discrimination - it's the Defence of the Realm!

Scaffman. It seems to be that women want to be Intelligence Officers and Drone Operators, and are quite happy to leave the living trenches to to men!

And by the way. Weren't UK soldiers webbing made lighter as few years back, without any reason given for the change by the MOD? My take was that the webbing had been made lighter in order to accommodate female soldiers, as supposedly all you could store in it was a face compact, lippy, and mascara!!!

Xenor. I somehow can't imagine that fighting MEN are much inclined to use the correct personal pronouns l, and all that goes with that. I believe that The Duke of Wellington thought the men under his command a horrible bunch.

I don't know any serving soldiers, but I know a recently retired Fireman. He is of the view that to servive "mentally" in such a job requires operatives to indulge in "banter" that woke lefty lunatics would have them sacked for.

The World is a rough place. Soldiers are tough people, predominantly men. The Armed-Forces is no place for woke weaklings! Our recruitment ads are a joke!!!

Normbeef. We all have our own take on things. Mine is that we got unlucky with Copper (and Silver) in Mexico, and then had the choice between open pit DSO mining (with the unmentioned risk of not receiving a Native Title Agreement) or re-opening a flooded, disused, Silver mine.

I, for one, am happy that someone chose to go for the DSO. It's been a hell of a wait, but it's acid test time now.

The Executive Team are going to have to shift a few gears if they want their performance shares. That has got to be good for us PIs.

CJM. We have Silver, "unproven" PGEs, and Brockman - so a negative DFS will likely result in massive dilution and the BoD sourcing more LTHs.

Hopefully, it won't come to that!
