Correct MrBB I still hold a substantial number of shares in EEE having purchased at sub 1p when the RNS came out announcing the giant find. I have taken some profit since then (HL SIP drawdown) as small exploration companies are volatile. If strong news is published later this year on a giant copper find then I would re invest the cash into EEE as the game has changed or moved on.

The company will need a JV in order to fund production and we are some years from that imo. I could envisage a buy out for pennies by a mining major within 12 months simply to secure a great resource in a relatively safe country.

I am not invested but might be this year as I think the sp drop an over reaction. The real drive for nuclear energy including fuel will come from Brussels not Madrid. If the EU changes its position on Nuclear Power then Madrid will be under pressure to grant the permits. My only uranium punt at the mo is AURA and they are lobbying Sweden hard to reverse their decision on Uranium mining. Sorry if you lost money today, the election a false dawn.

I hope not a rush to the door.....I put in a fill or kill to buy more with HL this morning.

To be frank I do not give a stuff about share dilution in months from now. I am keen to see the sp recover and start a steady upwards trend next week and with a cold winter could walk away with a wedge of profit by Christmas. On the other hand I could be further in the red by Monday Lunchtime.

For what it is worth (not much) the FT Portfolio has this to say about SOLG:

"The 4 analysts offering 12 month price targets for SolGold plc have a median target of 53.67, with a high estimate of 85.56 and a low estimate of 40.45. The median estimate represents a 218.69% increase from the last price of 16.84."

Well they are all positive about SOLG and I am now cautiously optimistic but do not expect a bid or JV in August. Great if I am wrong but see this being some months away in 2024. My best share at the mo btw is EEE, a potentially giant copper resource in Australia free of the political volatility of South America. The big resource players have options and SOLG is one of many.

Completely agree, the fortunes of ANGS linked directly to the elimination of Parliaments Net Zero Lunacy and windfall taxes on North Sea Producers while the UK imports LNG from Qatar! Reform UK like UKIP may never win more than the odd seat in Westminster but their policies will be copied by the main political parties to win over voters in 2024.

I admit to only skim reading it but was reassured and believe the company should do very well over the next 18 months. Financing secured and hedging now only applies to 50% of daily production give or take. The company also has other oil and gas interests like Balcombe which might yet come good. The political wind has shifted a little in the past 24 hrs. By the next GE the Gov may have ditched much of the present Net Zero crap in favour of political survival.

And some of us....well me are bottom feeders. No agenda per se just see the business as having possibilities and buying in after the sharp drop a good entry point. This might recover in price or go the way of YGEN where a predator buys the company on the cheap.

It may not be correct but the Reuters article will help the sp.

The news this week sufficiently good that I bought back in with reasonable hopes of a bid this year.

I would predict a modest sp fall today rather than 5p as short term traders take profits.

Nonetheless, it has been a great week for EEE and with more news who knows where the sp might be by end of 2023?

This company and the B Board are very under the radar at the moment. Institutional investors (11%) quietly adding, production likely in Q4 and some very exciting assay results yet the sp only gently rising? In some respects this is not a bad thing but I would appreciate hearing other peoples views here.

Added this morning on the news. I always felt the management cash scandal was overdone on sp in that this once traded at 100p. Trouble with Brasil is that it is a corrupt and dishonest country/people/culture but the grades, production figures are too good to ignore.

I am also minded that they are a key part of the BRICS and a gold backed trading currency is on the way. Were that to occur in the next 12 months then the price of gold against the US $ will fly upwards imo and gold producers will do very well from it.
