Agreed, from a long term investor perspective I prefer to see positive news and modest but steady upwards trends in a company. The get rich quick volatility of small exploration companies is fact of life as are the wild comments made on BB but it is somewhat wearing if you just want to buy and hold. The answer is a Buffett like ability to not keep watching the sp but I struggle with that.

EEE starting to look like poseidon nickel a mining stock that just kept climbing back in 1969. Yes it later crashed but the business survived. By contrast EEE not just a single metal play we are still waiting to see what copper lies beneath.
