There also be some speculation on the Madrid Exchange which is lifting the share price here?
Either way it is good news for small investors.
It's frustrating!
Take a look at ATYM, an old Copper mine and processing facility in Spain. The new owners are clearing up an old mess, going through the tailings, digging out fresh ore and processing some of it onsite using solar gnerated electricity.
It is waaaay dirtier than a Uranium Mine imo yet the Eco Idiots in Madrid have granted it permits.
BKY is a slam dunk necessary energy resource for Spain and the EU which is being screwed over in Madrid by the end of the world eco more-ons.
Quiet board, boring sector perhaps? I took a look at the financials via FT.com and they are not great (net income falling) but reflect the fact that the business has purchased smaller businesses to grow.
Debt is not too bad, debt to capital ratio 32% down from a year ago.
My concern, the UK is in a recession (imo) and I wonder how many IOM customers will fail over the next few years?
Very good results, surprised the sp not higher.
Unfortunately Brian McM is the Chief Exec and his track record of sp destruction is impressive so check and double check what he says.....
Update on Tiris, plenty of Uranium and near the surface which is great but.....when will mining commence?
Permits, permissions and funding lined up for production yet? We need more progress not more drilling results.
" has received a notification that Macquarie Bank Limited and its controlled entities (the "Macquarie Group Entities") are the beneficial holders of 95,318,712 ordinary shares, representing 13.22 per cent of the Company's issued share capital and voting rights."
Clearly Mac Bank think AURA is worth investing in......fingers crossed that Sweden does a 180 on Uranium Mining.
Back in, modest stake bought just now for 61.3p.
Yes it might go lower for a while, who knows? In the longer run I am to hold until 100p prob in early 2025.
PI's with grande testiculos?
And maybe a very small predatory brain?
While I am enjoying the modest gains it is imo just optimism driven and yes it has in turn generated a little upwards momentum.
We need hard scientific and business driven news to see a significant share price rise.
Is another contract award pending?
Just a hunch, no clear economic intelligence to support it but signs of life in N Sea O&G.
Political Uncertainty, reference any O & G exploration or production involving the North Sea. Once the UK is beyond the next general election businesses will be better able to judge if it is worth the risk.
FT.com today :
Oil markets are set to become “extremely tight” in the second half of this year, according to hedge fund giant Citadel, as Opec+’s control of the market allows it to keep prices high.
Sebastian Barrack, the firm’s head of commodities, told the FT’s Commodities Summit in Lausanne on Monday that the cartel has “definitely regained control” of the oil market.
That means that the volumes that its member nations supply, and the timing of that supply, “will define where prices go in the next 12 months”, he said. Citadel was last year named the most successful hedge fund of all time and has made large profits trading commodities.
Barrack’s comments come after Brent crude, the international benchmark, climbed above $90 per barrel last week for the first time since October, driven by fears of a widening conflict in the Middle East."
Maybe I will hold HBR for a little longer....?
I put in a fill or kill to sell my holding this morning.
Not because I think this is terrible news but because I had cleared 130% profit, SRB was my largest single holding and it was about time to take some profits. I will almost certainly buy a smaller stake later this week.
I would put the rise down to this being a typical small cap share where small buys or sells can shift the price. Ergo the usual shorters and rampers love small cap stocks because they are so easily manipulated. Try shifting RIO or BHP by 17% in a morning if you do not believe me.
Which is why a purchased a modest 500 shares this morning.
I like online gaming shares but took a hit on 888 and the idiotic WMH deal as it crippled them with debt.
I also hold PTEC which might yet attract another bid? To be fair to 888 and other firms the UK Gov response to problem gamblers OTT imo.
We certainly need something to change! The sp has been in the doldrums for what, two years? A bid, a big divi payment anything to raise the profile of the company.
“Whilst Vale have, during this week, informed us that they wish to withdraw from the exploration alliance, we do have a number of other groups keen to partner with us on the exploration for copper mineralisation. We remain excited, and these other companies seem to share our optimism, for discovering commercial copper porphyry mineralisation in our Tapajos tenements. We have very much enjoyed working with Vale and from Serabi’s perspective achieved a key objective of significantly advancing our understanding of Matilda as well as identifying other potential targets for copper porphyry mineralisation during the past 12 months”.
Vale leaving exploration agreement....bad news imo.
Unfortunately the UK Gov....
