We should hopefully find out tomorrow who the new 'institutional investor' is as the RNS said they hit the market on the 21st and represent 4.7% of the total new share capital.

A true, genuine, well known institute would be a coup for Gooding and his team and I think would go someway towards improving confidence in the mid term but we shall see.

However, if the ownership figures discussed yesterday are in any way accurate then adding more shares to the equation (if so many are already available via MM's) will do little for existing shareholders. If there is no demand for the shares in float then the bid will continue to be subdued whenever news comes out.

Let's hope a well known name crops up tomorrow. A good name might make peers take notice and soak up some of those shares that are already floating around in the market.

MM's are required to hold shares in companies like these in order to make the markets liquid. If they don't want them then why would any other institution? The company is only worth £1.7m and 46m shares is worth just under £100k. Small beer for them. They probably budget to lose millions on risky companies like this anyway.

I don't know any of this for certain but they seem the most logical candidates to me given 100% of the capital is accounted for in your link.

I only saw the ownership by categories of VC, Insiders, Institutions & Joe Public.

39% are held by Institutions, I don't know any that have a notifiable holding, which seems odd. There must be fair number of them.

Do MM's have to notify via RNS for the volumes they hold for the purpose of making markets?

If you know something different then would I would appreciate an enlightening.

That's about 65m shares, less than 10% So if DG & JH are the only other major holders then does than mean that 80%+ in the hands of small PI's?

I get your point Whimax, no one is going to buy it at book. But if you'd invest £1m then maybe you'd buy it out for 3.4m. (100% on book) and go straight to the shareholders.

JH & DG hold 10% so have no overall control. A hostile bid might succeed. Even if they needed JH or DG on board, they could probably stretch to a generous performance related package to keep them on board.

The company is only worth £1.7m. If you willing to invest that, you'd just buy it outright
