This proves Vaccinations are working. I think they will... eventually. They have to or we can wave goodbye to foreign travel forever. The US are running a good vaccination programme too. Therefore I will remain optimistic that once a country hits a certain threshold of vaccinations they will open travel.

If anyone thinks it's going to be based on infection rates then no point in looking at any travel stocks. Speaking of which may as well lock yourself in your house for the rest of time.

It's not about infections. We are going to live with Covid forever. It's about hospitalisations and deaths which thanks to the vaccination programme is working.

Infections rates are going to increase as we have been opening things up. This is the start of learning to live with it.

Until this is fully understood and appreciated we will never get our lives back

Bottom line is hospitals are not increasing and one deathc yesterday. As bad as a death is it's based on 67 million people and thats a death based on someone who was tested positive within 28 days. They could have died from something completely unrelated.

Covid is not going away but the nation is very much getting vaccinated. We need to open up.

We have the best vaccination program in Europe yet we have less flights in and out the country such as Germany.

Look at the data, NHS patients flat despite increase cases. Vaccinations are working and about time we start to treat it this way. We cant keep things propped up forever..

Covid cases are rising yes. But the trend for hospitlisation and intensive care are still in a downward trend. We have to remember there is lots of addition testing going on due to trying to location the Indian variant.

So what we have is more testing equals more cases. But what's important is hospitalisations is still going down so the vaccine is working, it's doing its job. As long as this trend continues..

The vaccine is not a cure, we will be living with covid for a long time so cases will always be around but thanks to scientist around the world it's no longer the threat it once was. We will be flying again soon.

Portugal will be putting a word to the governement, French will now accept Britons who are vaccinated and Spain are looking at doing what ever they can to get UK to let us travel to them for holiday.

These are just a few, the governement made a knee jerk reaction and we will see green lights on several countries soon.

Everyone stating doon and gloom... sorry we are not there yet. Things will come round soon.
