...at the end of the well drilling phase, the operator runs a gyro survey to help ensure AH => TVD depths are known in case need to ‘find’ well. Can be out by easily 25ft TVD pre-gyro.

Tosh or not, UOG been going 4 years with the lowest oil prices since 1998-2000, Jamaica is their fantastic transformational deal. Big prospects get bigger.. look how Tullow grow - it was not buying Thames Area but doing big exploration West Africa. Tullow will not drill Jamaica unless the COS is very robust. They have good 3D seismic; oil price around $65-70/BO so investors would fund £6 million drill cost - 1/3 market cap.

Bude is a new store which hardly compared to Tesco in the nearby town. Financial can always be used to mask Performance. I bought Sainsbury's shares because I thought is could easily improve its Performance. Selling food is simply, stack it high and sell asap. Currently stock on shelves far too long - need focus on residence time; empty shelves; no Tesco spark. Time for a change - BoD need to get focused. Only job for life if they Perform. Current SP clearly not reflecting well based on 'Financials'. Rick Greenbury used to turn up un-announced to all his M&S stores - mainly at the weekend!

Good work published today - reducing uncertainty may help attracting new development partners, though new local acreage needs to be worked up more before taking ANY decisions.

Not sure with oil price at near peak (Peak = ~$70/BO) it is a good time to do 'new' 'transformational' deal. UOG have production next year plus Jamaica to sort out in next couple of months before going transformational. To drill Jamaica - takes one year planning with purchase of new long-lead kit. UOG should be actioning raising funds to actually drill - next year. That's transformational!

SP still very interesting - clearly market do not understand significance of Guyana or SP would be 80% higher. As HUR are finding Resources have no market value.

Rest of RNS very good news. Not easy now to do onshore operations so not surprised by Kenya. Net debt, I’m sure will come down very quickly with Guyana drilling success. When successful - they should sell Ghana to Total - sounds like Tullow has done everything it can to extract all it’s capable value there. With 4 Billion BO Contingent Resources discovered in Guyana - a refocusing of minds will have to happen in a relative short period. Harvesting of certain producing assets will have to happen.

Dr R-T did good deal with Spirit over WD. This must be an expensive well now, even if it is adding PR => CR. Hope they will still have time to drill & test two more wells before WoS weather returns. WD RNS probably not till next week(?).. No SP spike after 12:00 today so I guess flowing tomorrow..

Not obvious that Halifax is separate from Lancaster. There is the concern over differing interpreted OWCs which would contribute to some evidence of 'separateness', but certainly not conclusive. With at least 6-12 months more higher priorities to deliver it makes sense (to me) to see what Lancaster EWT ultimately delivers, before simply testing again a proven discovery -- resolving an uncertainty, not a risk. See how the debate on BBs go! Maybe HE are already draining Halifax..

Sainsbury’s SP is hardly impressive - just like there food provision - surely even you can see there is a linkage. I presume Ps, you are either not a shareholder, or do not shop at Sainsbury’s? Maybe both...

Not sure everyone wants IO at current SP, around $0.3/BO Resources — seems that the new owner gets then all the value. Only by CMD and another six months full production & liftings will current share holders get their full value. Think for other shareholders that’s fair and market efficient. WD adding to the Contingent Resources seems a given now. Next two wells assured apart from weather or operational events.

Back to nearly 4p Ask, with AGM on Monday. Just love the potential energy this company has. Love to have crystal ball and see what the SP will be this time next year with Jamaica Drill all scheduled and financed.
