RE: Massive upside bounce coming14 May 2026 17:41
@rumbers2 - I am obliged. Thank you.
Good question: looking at the last RNS he only needs to sell another 500,000. Then he’s below the notification threshold. So it’s close.
As I mentioned, I don’t think he’s doing drip by drip. He sells into the big volume days (eg the trading Update, the interim results etc. All his RNSs coincide with reporting events). But as I expand on below, I think his final exit is bound to go in a block. That avoids him having to push the share price yet lower to get the liquidity he needs.
We’ll get an RNS once he passes that crucial milestone.
The trouble is, once the market appreciates that the huge concrete slab of his selling pressure is finally off the company, the coiled spring is likely to spring back rather violently and very quickly. I know that the bottom fishing funds have been all over Manolete for a long time now, just waiting for Cooklin to complete his exit operation.
The really good thing for anyone try to time this arbitrage is that if he does to the block sale then it will be at the market price (or very close to). So I see almost zero downside risk from the current bargain bucket £16m market cap (37p per share). Given the upside of the spring back, I have already positioned myself for this play. It could come any day.
As they say DYOR but this looks like a gift horse of a situation.
