Zeus investment bank have a few minutes ago released a six minute investment thesis piece on SML. Available on Research Tree.

Well balanced and conservative, the analyst states that the 14.9p Zeus evaluation recognises just 30% of their NPV evaluation of SML.

Zeus state that SML has now transitioned from a speculative mining developer into a strategically important mining company, with a clear line of Site now to finance, construction and production.

Given that the UK Government Business Minister is the MP for Teeside, I think there is a good chance that the funding announcement (which Will include a significant element of UK Government support) could well be made in the run up to the forthcoming widespread local, Scottish and Welsh elections which are to take place on 8 May.

Why? Because the Alkemy project is a rare but outstanding example of a brilliant public private partnership and in the key area of energy transition, which plays so very well against the backdrop of oil dependence highlighted by the Iran War.

The political value of Alkemy is too good to be missed, in my view.

This company is useless. Management are clueless. Tungsten is just a fashion item. Tin is just used for tea pots that you can buy cheaper in Oxfam - no need to build a mine.

There are 59 million warrants left outstanding therefore future dilution is 11.824%

I think this is minimal within the grand scheme of the project. Plus it provides useful working capital in the meantime.

My position is:

- the asset looks like a rare find, particularly the Gallium aspect

- the CEO appears credible and highly experienced

- the USA Government grant is a highly attractive feature

- MRE and potential further USA funding are, by all accounts, imminent

My conclusion: looking at the valuations of the listed comparable companies in this sector: they have market capitalisations of £100m, £200m and more. Yet those comparable companies are largely little more advanced than REE in the development of their assets. Therefore, REE’s £17m market capitalisation strikes me as remarkably low/materially mis-priced.

I am not really ramping (though we are all self interested). I like to think that I am a seasoned and fairly sophisticated, professionally qualified investor. My main aim is simply to summarise the core investment thesis here to perhaps the less experienced reader. These mining companies are very complex to understand (it has taken me considerable time to get my head around the parameters).

If people disagree with my analysis, I warmly welcome their technical explanations, so that I can improve my own knowledge of the sector and the company specifics.

Silly insults aimed at me are petulant and a waste of all of our thinking energy.

The market cap of REE at £17m is ridiculously small.

A 10x to £170m doesn’t even get close to realistic.

Yes there is a final round of warrant conversion that is underway but in the grand picture that is a pin prick of dilution that is already far too discounted in the current share price of REE.

Add in: analyst consensus fair value of 8.9p per share based on current information (including the known final warrant conversion).

MRE due any day now. That will trigger a hugely upgraded analyst fair value plus major follow on USA grant money so that the USA can secure offtake of the gallium and flurospar.

Recommendation: this is a genuine 10x return investment opportunity, at the right time and with the best possible USA Government backing. Absolute no brainer.

Demand looks very strong.

REE share price is still 55% below analyst consensus fair value of 8.9p per share.

Recommendation: With the Company due to report its Material Resource Estimate (“MRE”) imminently, the current REE share price presents investors with an outstanding investment opportunity which should be handsomely rewarded on imminent production of MRE and material follow on grant awards by USA Government. Those factors will trigger material increased in fair value of REE share price. Strong Buy.

Despite decent run up since MRE, SML is still 55% below the analysts fair value of 14.9p per share.

Recommendation: Against a backdrop of huge capital market dislocations caused by the Middle East War, SML presents investors with one of the few premier investment opportunities.

Mineral resource estimate (MRE) is due to be published by the company any day now.

Zeus, the leading investment bank in the sector in my opinion, already have a fair value of REE at 8.9p.

Zeus will undoubtably very materially increase that fair value once they have interrogated the MRE.

REE has already had a first Grant from the USA government. I think it very likely that that was the first of a number of increasingly large grants to be forthcoming from the same source. That really does gilt edge this investment opportunity in my personal opinion.

I have been adding these past five weeks at an average of 3.6p. I added More today.

Any day now REE will move very fast to the Zeus fair value. This is exactly the playbook across so many other junior mining companies on AIM.

Just put in a dummy sell of £25k.

HL offered me 6.16p (way higher than the spread).

That tells us one thing: the MMs have huge orders from institutions now and are desperate for stock.
