Clued, I agree, however unless public transport is improved, I mean really improved then people will just not want to leave their cars. I own a 'large suv', it is full of BS safety system that I have to switch off constantly. But I do only use it for long trips. I ride a bike. The laptop screen that controls everything is what is dangerous, I should not have to turn my heating on by going through a bunch of screens to get to it (not my car, thankfully).

Anyway, unless governments do more, why should the people do more? plus, taking a couple of young kids on and off buses, tubes etc is a real pain, especially with buggies. People like autonomy, really is that simple.

One little thing about Spain's low fuel prices, the Spanish government has put aside €3b to take €0.30 off each litre of fuel sold at the pump. The UK could do the same, but greed has an insatiable appetite, especially if we as taxpayers are funding it.

But Spain is doing a 'socialist thing' so why would we want to do that...

Every country in Europe could do that, just by reducing fuel duty, however, that would require an ounce of sympathy for road users.

So, if you feel like it is easier to go with the flow, accept what you've been told, and just accept what a person or government is doing without question, then you have been groomed. It's perhaps too late for people like tart, but if you feel uneasy about certain things, atrocities that are against the main stream narratives, then it may not be too late to get help.

Like given away all the NHS data to Oracle, let Palentir know every Policeman’s number, rank and salary details. How we will be told within weeks that it's because of 'security' we will all need digital ID's and our currency will now have to go all digital. THAT is my concern.

just for your info, I renounced my US citizenship in early 2014, so as for living in the US, trust me when I say, I know all about the US culture. And the guns, are the least of it's problems, it is just used to divide people and opinions. Upon leaving the US for the final time, I surrendered 7 weapons to the local authorities, still have the receipts with serial numbers, just in case. you never know! I still have family out there, but have not returned in 29 years and no plans in the future. So much easier to travel the world without that blue passport. I'll leave that with you.
