Lurker,
It jus as far from `simples` as you could possibly get.
CG77,
Just retreating back to the placing price- It dropped on perceived bad news and is rising on good news. Lets get excited when it gets above £2.50.
Was out walking pondering why SNG are highlighting Chairman, Simon Shaws`, comments today in their tweet earlier? There is this paragraph which mentions ACTIV2- I know some (including me) have wondered why it wasn't`t mentioned yesterday by RM or at end of April:
The inclusion of SNG001 in the US government-funded ACTIV-2 trial is a further indication of international interest in our inhaled interferon beta treatment. Unlike many other treatments, inhaled interferon beta, as a drug taken through a nebuliser, can be self-administered at home under virtual supervision, making it a key part of reducing strain on healthcare systems, both through preventing severe disease and through lowering the number of necessary hospital visits for patients suffering respiratory symptoms.

I'd be very wary of anything that comes out from `Telegram` via ADvFN Guild. They don't take kindly to be questioned about some of the stuff posted on there. Not 100% sure why...
On 7/9/20 Lansdowne sent a TR1 holdings RNS saying they were `below 5%`. I can't see another TR1 from them...IMO if they were still above 3%, they should've said so. IE what figure they sold down to on 3/9/20. IMO this was filled in incorrectly.
Can anyone else see another TR1 from them?
Yes, you do have the wrong end of the stick.
Tivkah are definitely below 5%....That is all we know. Yes they might well be below 3% too. Tivkah do don't need to report holdings below 5%...So we do not know what their holding is!
Matml74,
You see this is where misleading stuff comes from...
Tivkah sold down to below 5% (not 3%) - Remember they are non UK and don't have to report holdings below 5%. For a while on the Co holdings page SNG showed Tikvah at 4% before it too disappeared after a few days..
Last Friday someone just announced UBS are buying, without showing that Bloomberg screen shot. Then someone else backed it up and said- `there was talk UBS might be buying for Roche`. ....this is how rumours start and this was the intention IMO.
The UBS holding is a nominee or various client account holdings, not just one ii, just like the others on that screen...HL, II, and Barclays..
I agree and said so on Friday...
RE: UBS LinkToday 23:32
I think that this image has been posted with the intent to mislead.
That nortic chap should know better IMO...A few weeks ago he posted this which was also not up to date:
https://www.marketscreener.com/quote/stock/SYNAIRGEN-PLC-4004905/company/
If you want up to date share holder info you need an up to date share registry. Polar have not sold....As someone said below Bloomberg do not always give up to date info.
File date on the right of the screen
From a poster on ADVFn...It`s Multiple Portfolios, nominee account holdings ...IMO. I think folk will be eating a long time for a TR! from UBS.....I might be wrong though. But if that is holdings from 3/2/21 or even 2/3/21 then they are a bit late reporting too.
Exactly.
It reminds me of someone who has inputed a sat nav wrongly...`Sh*t in sh*t out` IE doesn't understand what he is looking at...we don't know what the screen is showing because we didn't do the input...Someone has seen UBS AG c10m shares and come up with UBS the ii, then someone said Roche might be buying and before you know it everyone is looking at Flightradar. How to start a rumour on rubbish in one easy lesson...It`s a nominee account....IMO etc
If you add up the various accounts below `UBS AG`, it adds up to 10,215,230 the UBS AG figure.
UBS AG -- 10,215,230 6,689,373 02/03/2021
UBS AG/London Multiple Portfolios 8,242,728 6,244,998 02/03/2021
UBS AG/LONDON TRADING ACCOUNT -- 8,242,728 6,244,998 02/03/2021
UBS AG ZURICH Multiple Portfolios 1,771,665 362,038 02/03/2021
UBS AG ZURICH CLIENT ACCOUNTS -- 1,771,665 362,038 02/03/2021
UBS AG UBS TRADING ACCOUNT 128,129 85,337 02/03/2021
UBS Financial Services Inc Multiple Portfolios 45,100 -3,000 02/03/2021
UBS Financial Services Inc UBS FINANCIAL SERVICES INC CLIENT ACCOUNTS 45,100 -3,000 02/03/2021
UBS Reorganisation 2011-02 Ltd Multiple Portfolios 27,608 0 02/03/2021
UBS WEALTH MANAGEMENT UK LTD CLIEN -- 27,608 0 02/03/2021
And the date at the end of the screen is 3/2/21
You`d think an ex MM would know what he was looking at then wouldn't you.
The top 5 on that screen show nominee account holdings...HL and Interactive investor are the top 2. The UBS AG shows the c10m in multiple accounts too. It is not all an ii holding. I`m not sure exactly how up to date it is either as it doesn't show Polars holding.- You'd have to ask the person who took the screen shot.
Many of the trades are sells...hence why the sp is down.
Further complicated by those showing today are mostly yesterdays trades...so anything around 188 is a sell, IMO. The 189 and above might be buys...
Exactly...How do you know they are buys?...sure sp was up in the days up to Friday but many of those trades could easily be sells, hence why the sp hasn't moved much over the last couple of days....
