Surely if there was a buy order in for their short in total any MM with that kind order would've moved the sp significantly. And would be hoovering buys. That clearly isn't happening.

Agree re your short analyse- Except there might be other reasons for the Qube short.

Re the Orange one`s big bad bill- Is he likely to actually get it through the Senate without a rewrite WRT the debt and other stuff (including Green incentives). We`ll see I guess.

Trump is mostly all talk to satisfy some of his thick red neck voters, re Net Zero. EG he cancelled the off shore NY wind farm then flip flopped and gave it the go ahead last week.

I also don't think there`s any panic from the shorters. Not yet- quite the opposite- while this has doubled the shorters have increased their positions a bit ....So probably means some II are buying.

We had that large UT on Friday...and despite Qube adding c1/2m to their short the sp held up last few days and is still rising. Share prices move with net buying and selling. Buying pressure in this case.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them follow up with a reduction. Qube increasing by .04%, which is only 250k shares, has stopped the rise- which is presumably what they wanted to do.

Sorted out now. I sold them all back last Jan/ February- My IFA said yesterday that I still had some in the Stocktrade account but which were un-tradable...Anyway I was right I don`t have any- Not 100% sure why IFA thought I still had some though- Bit worrying really.

Thanks for that....My broker says he can't trade them. I`ll go back and ask him what he's talking about.
