And the other reason to be optimistic here is the SP moves like lightening, as witnessed yesterday. Fair enough this applies both ways, but with no debt the mcap is currently less than cash, and less than half the company's current assets. Limited downside, big upside I would have thought.

Well I've been looking since yesterday for an obvious negative, but I'm struggling. Negatives include no update for a while (which of course also means one is due), the word "oil" in the company name (although gold would at present be more apt) and a speeding ticket in April (although there may have been no reason for a rise in April but that doesn't mean there's no reason in August).

So 30% of askia is worth c2.1mln, cash and other current assets of c1.2mln, other investments c400k gives 3.8mln. Against mcap of a smidge over 500k. And thats not allowing for any increase due to decent news of a good new investment.

Where does the askia valuation of 7mln come from?

Well whether this was pumped or not, it doesappear that the mcap is less than cash, there are no debts, and their investments must be worth something. Will be interesting to see if a corporate update is forthcoming....

Bizarre, but STY very often don't announce major contract wins. Even though this one is for 15% of the companys mcap!

Still here and still interested hobione. Interim divi announcement is due, going on last year. That should be a decent booster. Closely followed by half year results. There's only so long the wider market will ignore the undervaluation here.

At ten times this price, the yield is still a respectable 5% or so.

That 100k buy from yesterday morning was at quite some premium!

And, they had 33mln GBP cash at end of last year. Since when they've made probably another 8mln. Mcap sub 8mln, cash alone probably 5 times that!

And rosty, they export them. Bit of a building frenzy going on in some parts of the UK due to relaxing of planning laws.

Looks like a placing then. Although it also looks like someone who maybe bought in the placing wants more than they got. 100k block buys aren't the average PI, especially when they are done in blocks of 3 all day! I will watch with interest! GLA & Goodnight!

I would guess from all the buys not shifting the price that a placing has been done. But, and its a big but - someone has been hoovering up shares today in lumps of 100k, and larger, so I would think its a placing with a rather good sweetner thrown in. I would also guess any placing was oversubscribed. Are you expecting the company to raise cash soon, and is good news also expected?

Just looking at how L2 closed, with them on the ask. I'm only assuming they were sat on it all day, as the price didn't shift.
