Machinist for pilot plant for production of strategic raw material. Help develop a completely new processing, with room to shape workflows and optimize equipment and process. GreenRoc-DK a/s is looking for a machinist to establish, develop and operate our process plant in Hørsholm. We are building Northern Europe's first process plant to convert graphite concentrate into anode material for use in Li-ion batteries. The plant will be established in early 2026 and consists of a number of mills, reactor plants and furnaces, purification tanks, mixers, filter presses, drying ovens, a plant for the production of demineralized water, a magnetic separator, etc. A number of analytical instruments for quality control will also be set up. The plant is a pilot plant for the development of processes and optimization before a commercial plant in full production scale is established. We offer a very varied and challenging job where you will contribute to the setup and operation of the pilot plant together with our small team which mainly consists of geologists, advised by a graphite specialist. You will be responsible for the technical function of the plant, including setup, connection of electricity and water etc., as well as the technical operation and maintenance of the plant. The geologists are responsible for the quality of the processing, and it is necessary that you work closely together to achieve the high quality of the graphite anode material required by the manufacturers of Li-ion batteries. The position offers good development opportunities as in the slightly longer term we plan to establish a commercial processing plant with the production of several thousand tons of anode material per year. The production of anode material will be sold to European battery and electric car manufacturers. Your qualifications You have knowledge of and experience with: 240V-400V electric motors electrical connection and maintenance Electrical control systems Blower and filter systems Maintenance and replacement of bearings Pumps and valves Exhaust Collaboration with external service companies Safety standards at the workplace We expect you to be good at working in teams and to be involved in the construction phase and in ensuring that the plant runs optimally and that any errors and breakdowns are diagnosed and remedied as quickly as possible. This requires that you are curious and persistent, as together we will develop a completely new type of plant. Your workplace is the pilot plant in 2970 Hørsholm and your working hours are 37 hours/week. There are opportunities to flex your working hours after coordination with colleagues, and there may be some extended working days during the establishment of the plant and during test runs. As we are building a completely new team, you can help to create the framework for the work. Salary and employment conditions according to qualifications.
