Actually Tom winnifrith gave a very balanced review today. Yes he did knock Nighthawk but he also mentioned that UJO has decent UK assets, considerable cash and holds shares that are worth money.

He didn't mention the royalties he did mention the election and implied risks to progress in UK , which unless anyone has been in a coma for a while is blindingly obvious

From experience I see everytime there is a bid that the Target Co opens around 5,6 % below the bid price and the gap slowly closes as the deal date approaches. It carries no meaning in relation to the comments you always see ranging from

I do believe and request however that Dave takes a haircut on his salary until performance in the SP justifies more.

Not sure what is the big deal about a dividend.

I believe that intentions to pay a dividend were made honestly since which economics have changed. I suggest that a dividend will be paid when prudent.

Same with buybacks, not much point really. If UJO was propping up its own Sp by doing buybacks as it certainly appeared to me then there was not much point. Volume was very thin so clearly sentiment needs to be altered and hopefully will be by investing outside the unfriendly UK environment and this is what UJO us doing.

I would much prefer all funds to be invested in value accretive non UK projects giving diversification whilst retaining sufficient to develop those meaningful UK projects as commitments arise

I hope DB has got this new investment right. Oklahoma wells are notorious for declines. They start off about 267 BOPD and by month 36 drop to a bout 34 BOPD (About 87 percent decline), constant cash burn, need to drill , drill and then drill some more.
