Each day there is a large (ish ) purchase and has been for some days now Let us not forget that when CWC first split from CWW , it was 60p. This does not look expensive to me by some margim . Tomorrow it opens at 56.95

Cable & Wireless Communications Plc ("CWC") today announces that it has agreed with Batelco to unwind the previous transfer of a 25% shareholding in Compagnie Monegasque de Communication SAM ("CMC") from CWC to Batelco. CWC has re-paid to Batelco the US$100 million paid by Batelco to CWC upon completion of the Islands disposal and Batelco has re-transferred to CWC the 25% shareholding in CMC. All option arrangements between CWC and Batelco in relation to CMC have terminated

Given recent volumes and rise in SP something may be afoot. This would seem rather a small fish for VOD or AT&T but who knows. ? Liberty Global alledgedly denied an interest but that could change. What a Company says yesterday is not necessarily valid today. Sooner or later I would think CW would have to issue a statement themselves

but I reckon this is too small for Verizon

Deutsche Bank target is c56p. Good dividends, little downside risk, screams take out later in year.

Same thinking, hibernate. SP too low especially as the sale price way exceeded expectation. Dividend still useful. I guess we are all hoping for some heavy New Year interest and further deals,rationalisation. Keep going Orbis, dig deep, you got at least 38p for CWW !

I believe it was mentioned on III that this would be %50 of the companies currnet market Cap for about %20 of the assets . CWC definately due a re-rate, even withhout this. You would hope that this sparks other interest
