Looks like BTC is going back up. It should encourage more people to get purchasing or selling which equals more revenue for MODE. Roll on the preliminary results with a trading update!

An opportunity for top ups before the preliminary results are released. A good 6-12 month hold here without the crazy volatility of some other crypto stocks.

Same risks as Revolut and others. BTC is going up, that is all that matters just now until user numbers and revenue are reported. We are due an RNS for the preliminary results to 31st December. Hopefully, this week.

Let us do some simple numbers.

Revolut has a market cap of £4 billion and 13 million users. MODE has a market cap today of £47 million and an estimate of 165,000 users given a reported increase of 500% since August from 25,000, and then another 4,000 additional users per week that has also been reported. Additionally, a 40% growth to 5,800 users added per week, was also reported in January.

Revoluts £4 billion divided by its 13 million users equals a market cap value per user of £307 each. MODE has 200,000 users.

This means MODES Market Cap at the moment using Revoluts users and market cap as a baseline should in fact be £50.65million. We are 7% undervalued compared to Revolut.

As a rule of thumb, £307 per user equals the market cap of the MODE using Revolut as a baseline.

The trading volume today compared to the last 6 months has never been higher for BTC-GBP. This should have translated into extra, unexpected revenues for MODE as well as extra users over the last few days.

look up the Yahoo finance BTC-GBP trading volumes. Info on the 9th and 10th is absent for some reason...

Congratulations everyone. MODEs revenues got a boost today, over the weekend and probably tomorrow too.

The preliminary full year results for January to December 2020 should come out soon, maybe even this week. Sadly, we might not see the boost of this volatile trading but we will see it in the H1 results that shall be released in July. Same time as last year.

My educated guess for user numbers today is 200,000, many of which are trading like mad. MODEs share price fell giving the opportunity for top ups, when the till was ringing like crazy. Quite ironic.
