Volatility is separate from Buy and Send. The act of buy and send in the question you have asked is transactional. Volatility is a transaction trigger.

The CEO has said when BTC goes up people buy more but as soon as we see a crash (less likely now) that will trigger people wanting to lock in gains or reduce losses. 4% of the UK market has BTC so there are few people moving money wallet to wallet. When people do this it is not a repetitive transactional activity. Sending money wallet to wallet is a one off for most but not all, as people optimise returns through the Jar.
