The CEO has done an interview recently and is aiming to be profitable by year end of 2023. Given the activity on the app i expect MODE to be profitable in 2022 as the CEO is against running a business that is a cash burn.

USER NUMBERS

To answer your question on user numbers they do not publish them according to an interview the CEO did, but to be honest i think they will have to shift their position on that. It was 10,000´s in August with a five-fold increase by year end. We are at a guestimate of 125,000 to 150,000 by 31st Dec 2020. As early January hit the weekly new users went to 5,800 per week compared to 4,000 per week at Christmas. This was because of Facebook and instagram advertising. A full android release was not available at that time. Only iOS. Android is only fully available very recently.

In March we are expecting to be at 250,000 users, £600 million funds in custody and an announcement on retail partners accepting the newly released super app for instore purchases with a QR code. A trading update on the BTC activity is also expected. Full year results for 2020 are being compiled just now but may not be released till late March/April 2021.
