High quality 3D mapping of the Tugruk basin has now been fully completed with the discovery of additional targeted hotspots again to the east of the Tugruk basin. The company is also pleased to announce that the rig tender process for Block xx is now concluded and the contract awarded to the most competent and professional company. The company have now obtained all relevant operational permits required for Snow Leopard, Wild Horse and Blocks xx. Site construction is now complete and drilling consumables, long-lead items including casing and wellhead are now on site. The company will update shareholders when Snow Leopard has spuded.

Cuddothisnow - makes a change to have a fresh view on things, I was even getting bored with my own posts. Fresh new input certainly encourages a brighter perspective on what has developed into something very dull. Certainly nothing wrong with the progress already made, in particular the International market (outside Europe). However, yet to see a share price released by the MM's from the constraints of litigation while they are still in place. I agree totally that eventually the proportion of international trade will eventually overwhelm the UK and European trade, and the percentage margin between the two will erode into insignificance. The question is when?. Lets hope your right about Aug/Sep. If the litigation covers an area so insignificant the MM's just might let the price go. Must say you are right about price movements. This share has never been one to move in small percentage points. I've always seen this as a share ready to fire up quick and ready to double at the drop of a hat. Recent few days trading confirms the up down volatility on just a few trades. Its like its bursting to get free but no ones in to turn the kill swill off. Just to clarify, most believe I am here to back my fathers investment, the fact is I couldn't avoid the temptation. 4.5p was just too irresistible. Anyway, great to see someone who also puts his money where his mouth is, good to have you aboard and good post.

Bakky - If it's hardly worth bothering about then it won't be difficult to drop the Europeans. All joking aside, it is quite an assumption to assume the French will follow the Germans when the most recent cases took place in the UK in accordance with new EU directives. Also, I can't remember a time when the French have never taken the opportunity to get one over the Brits one way or the other. Just joking, don't want to be seen as being racist do we.

Twix - Sorry, I don't believe for one minute that Illumina cannot fight off any infringement of it's patent rights in France or any other European country. If what you are saying is correct, there is no point taking out a patent in the first place. If that's the case, what does the patent protect. As far as any European protection goes, Judge Carr was in fact acting in accordance with the new European directive, which done us no good at all, in fact it worked against us. Sorcerer - spot on, the move up 25% was purely based upon an RNS leak, not on it's contents. Having said that, this does bode well for what might be expected.

Twix - I cannot see any benefit to pulling out of the UK only. What I gathered from the recent court judgement and previous case judgement doesn't bring much hope for a successful appeal. Taking this into consideration lets first rid ourselves of this idea that a settlement is forthcoming. Firstly, why would Illumina agree to a settlement when they hold all the cards. They now have the courts backing on two fronts, one in November and the recent 321. Secondly, They have another full year before a result is reached on appeal, another year of price suppression and it is in no way to there advantage to lift the pressure. Steven Little's hint to pull out of the UK in the last RNS was as clear as daylight, but how he was going to achieve this without leaving himself vulnerable is yet to be seen. Pulling out of the UK market alone would leave us open to attack in other European countries we already have a foothold and the appeal process would be a waist of time if we pulled from the UK anyway. I think it's safe to say under those circumstances Illumina's next play would be legal action in France, then again in every European country for the next ten years. The only possible benefit to both Premaitha and us as shareholders is for total extraction from Europe. This would give us a clear and open field internationally to expand unhinderded with the share price in the 30's as it should be.

Twix - Absolutely right, A Welsh contract win for any other company would reinforce my belief that we are pulling out of the UK. I know I have said this before but break even alone will have no impact on the share price if litigation is still hanging. If the next RNS includes withdrawal from the UK and Europe our price will rocket.

Pettycash - "Anyone with any sense waits for the bigger COS" Nothing wrong with your theory and I agree the only real winners are those who climb on board when the first well crashes. That really does work if all the wells are of the same percentage chance, because then, you are buying in at a far lower price and the risk is worth taking. However, on this occasion two of the highest chances are last, which means the first two wells are free, with no or little impact on the share price for the last two chances. More to the point, we could be in the possible position where the second and third wells are completing very near the same time, (I find this highly unlikely but not impossible). So, if the second well fails there will still be no chance of a buy in to the third well at a lower price. My advice to you is buy in now and get your two free chances while you still can.

Twix - I don't think I said you mentioned takeover. I did include that in the collective sense of possible events that could take place. Anyway, forget that, I have another idea that could involve keeping the UK. Premaitha's relationship with the NHS is very strong. Encompassing what is now 55 hospitals with St Georges as the centre of excellence. It was noted by Judge Carr in his "Judgement" that in the bidding process for the NHS contract, Arios's Harmony, was not even considered when coming to a decision to award the contract. Such was the outweighed benefits of using the Iona test. This indicated to me that the NHS considered the Iona test far superior and embraced it's use throughout The UK. I think this is where ground could be made in bringing forward a settlement and to somehow incorporate the NHS into negotiations. The NHS now have a large stake in the Iona test and would be happy to help seek a mutually agreeable conclusion. The deal thats beneficial to everyone would be Premaitha continues sales within the UK using Thermo Fischer platform with 50% of procedes going to Illumina. That way everyone wins. Premaitha retains it's prestige, Illumina gets 50% of all future sales and no disruption to the NHS. All possible, but I doubt it's going to happen.

Hey Twix, settlement, takeover, I'll gladly throw in the towel for any one of those, but I just don't think it's on. No one can absolutely disregard the possibility, but in terms of day to day trading, how many companies are listed on aim and how often do you see takeovers. A settlement is a much more plausible outcome, but they are steering a ship against an overwhelming current, who's interest is not to make things comfortable for it's advisory. It's interest and sole intention is to disable and cripple.

Grapevinez - I really hope you are right. I'm not just speaking on behalf of dad now. A sale would release me from this self imposed mental torture and bring a decent profit in the bargain. Twix - The trouble with this is settlement offers have been made already and have been turned down, what's changed?. Judge Carr in his "Judgement" had the opportunity to indicate that a settlement was possible, but he didn't. What I will say, is that something could have been said in the directions hearing, but we will never know. Hemo - If Thermo Fischer was a potential purchaser of the company they would offer an alternative procedure compatible with their own setup, so no compensation sought by clients etc. Secondly, I don't see where or why redundancies should take place. Manchester was originally set up as research and development centre and would stay in tact in that respect. The International trade in terms of sales and marketing would certainly not change in fact would increase and in house accountancy if anything would also expand.

Twix - you are going off track. I'm not disputing Premaitha was complient with Illumina in relation to the delayed court hearing. I am making the case that Illumina deliberately delayed bringing the case and that Burch lied and that the judge disregarded it even though he knew he was lying. Does that help.

Jackdaw99 - Your right to question any part of what I say but this instance you have overlooked the vital part steve67 has obviously seen, and that is when I said that Judge Carr asked the question, I was in fact referring to the paragraph that steve67 presented and that Judge Carr new all along that Burch was lying through his teeth about knowing about the 321 patents existence but could do nothing to prove or disprove it either way. So the Judge new full well that Illumina purpously delayed bringing the case but the judge could do nothing about it. Your second point I must also point out that in law, once the presedent has been made the abuse of process has been established or not, that same point cannot be tried again unless specifically appealed agains the original case. One point I will agree with you on is that different countries have differing laws regarding this abuse of process. Having said that, correct me if I'm wrong, they should adopt the EU directive which was to a degree followed by Judge Carr.Those differing European courts will be looking at Judge Carr's case in particular when making any judgemnet. So to that extent, Illumina will have a get out of jail free every time they bring forward a new case because no one will dare risk moving an already established verdict.. Thanks Steve67

Withdrawal would have to be total to have any effect. As far as I am aware, Genoma had a litigation infringement case against them already from Illumina before they collapsed. So I think judge Carr has now made it blatantly clear that Illumina can now present infringement allegations at will at any time separate from the prime case. It would be natural to assume that this would be done automatically, in order to elongate the potential damage to Premaitha. No point in chasing a lost cause and no point imposing a self restricted share price. Sorry Twix, Judge Carr makes it clear in his summery that he asked the question why Illumina left it so late to put forward the 321 action, so it must have been seen by him as a delay, even though he later disregarded it. Steven Little may not be a businessman but the chairman certainly is, and that imv is the reason why they joined forces. Don't get wrong, If a takeover occurs, I'm just as happy, just won't reach the highs of it's true potential.
