It would suggest that Fuhai sees EG as a place of many potentials wells , not just a one off well.

Certainly should make EOG more attractive to institutions investors , as it makes EOG a more serious player in EG in terms of both credibility and Capital access, especially if eg-08 well is successful.

Yes but they need to change articles of A to allow it ,hence today’s resolution.

Imo, at the stage ,a fair valuation of the company would be £25-30m or about 3p a share . It’s way undervalued at 1.85p. Expect re rate within weeks .

I would expect to see this at 3p+ by end of next week . Smart money also waiting to see results of today’s AGM resolutions.

Itsawrap, I think deal will be signed and be transformational.

My worry is that through lethargy , enough people don’t vote to defeat resolution 8, which allows them to place shares with institutions without pre-emptive rights with a dilution effect of 20%.

If we go into the new year without news and with this resolution passed, I think it will have a negative effect on the share price and so any deal that’s announced , means the upturn in the share will be from a lower base price than it should be .

It’s a great achievement by the log board to have actually signed and sealed this . I will admit I doubted them as time wore on .

The next big question is will they settle before court or go all the way . A €15-20m net payment in 2026 would be very tempting .

Rockhopper who started their ect proceedings in 2017 have not yet been paid by Italy but have got about €50m so far from selling claim & insurance payout from original €190m .

No, their % take is not reduced if costs are given, it’s just comes in at lower level of maybe 30% instead of 40%. . That’s is their profit /risk fee as there is no guarantee that they will win the case . Do some research . This is not a personal injury claim !!
