Thanks for the map. Much easier to look at that than the mining cadaste one. One of the other companies had good geo maps for the region, I think it was Canadian. I will try to find it when I have time.

Aren't the odds always against you when investing in exploration. The chances of an exploration target becoming a mine is very small. That's why it is important to spread risk and expect high rewards. But by sharing information, hopefully as individuals we have a better grasp of that risk, whether positively or negatively.

I also thought that the AFP geologists have been working on the ground with the FQ ones interesting. Colin will have a very good understanding of what is going on which most minnows could only dream of.

Thanks for posting and to Colin and the Roasties. It does sound promising and at least FQ are putting in some serious drilling with 3 rigs. As pointed out, this is district wide so could also benefit XTR and GLR. Fingers crossed.

John, thanks l just had a listen. And the XTR license is next door. With the improvement in technology to assess through the deep sands, the expertise of FQ and massive infrastructure investments by governments in the area, hopefully it will pay off.

John, do you have a link for that interview.

I don't know about it being the most significant of his career, but l do think it is underappreciated. Not only at AFP but also here and GLR (personally l prefer the XTR licence to the GLR one ). However it is blue sky exploration so carries the usual risk.

Target 1 is interesting. I am surprised it wasn't followed up further. More recent work by the Chinese in the area suggests good gold prospectively.

Colin has released 2 quite substantial RNS's today covering XTR and AFP. The AFP one the more relevant here and an encouraging start for our NW Zambia license. Hopefully he will cover it in a podcast. The XTR one had good figures but the "red flag" about their Chinese partners a bit concerning. Sadly the Chinese have made a habit of this in my experience.

Remains promising. If the Roasties do a podcast with Colin, can you ask how it all integrates with XTR and GLR licences.

Colin said, if you are looking for elephants go where elephants have been seen before. We know there are elephants, the Chinese say there is good gold prospectivity, so what could go wrong !.

On a serious note, if there are good copper shows then hopefully news could come anytime.

I agree XTR look the best placed. Trouble is that is down 82% whereas AFP is down 34% and GLR a lowly 10% in my account. Equally AIM as a whole no better. If Rick is right and most of these companies will go to the wall then it makes sense for the majors to just let the explorers bankrupt themselves and pick up the pieces in a couple of years time. AA can just drag things out and are under no pressure to do us any favours.

The 1200 to 200 did catch my attention. Quite brutal. Given I own a few of Collins companies/exploration companies it is a bit concerning. AFP now taking a battering. I agree XTR should be fine. I have always been a fan of Manica and the NW Zambia licenses look interesting. BR I bottom drawered a long time ago. But thanks for posting the podcast link. He made a few interesting observations.
