So re reading the September 2015 Interims,they would certainly put off any potential investors,but you need to take a long hard look at them again. Reported Net Assets after write downs £62.62M. The £14.1M loss attributed to write downs in, Peru £3.8M IPC £2.7M Impaired loans in Argentina £3.9M FX Losses £1.6M, Income for the period £600,000 from newly commissioned Canchayllo hydro pant ,also services to IPC,with a gross profit of £487K Even with that £14.1 M loss reported which is due to the impairements,in no way does it relate to the economic performance of the company and its operating entities namely Energia del Sur/Pel. What is extremely clear with no operational news since September 2015 really apart from the reporting of the Radix facility which anyway is monetarily insignificant compared to our current worth the current two directors along with our Nomad refuse to report anything positive about the company, I wonder why. Changes in the Argentinian Economy Removal of FX controls etc. Repayment of loans and Interest from EDS/PEL,they do own the RuR £30.7M Firstly it is very clear that there is a current ongoing news black out and it is almost certainly to do with potential suitors, probably involving ex director(s) of RuR whom are trying to negotiate the purchase of the 54% block of RuR stock from the Sterling Administrator. In my opinion those potential suitors whom no doubt are in close contact with our current two directors are likely if they succeed in that 54% block purchase to then opt to take the company private. There is another large holder with 18%,so together with the 54% that would take the holding to 72% where an offer can be tabled to existing minority shareholders. Obviously this depends the sale of the 18% to the new majority holder(s) Looks increasingly likely therefore that there shall be an attempt to take RuR private, The reassurance for us minority shareholders is that they are not going to sell that 54% block for anyway near our current Mcap,they are fully aware of current asset value and very importantly the huge changes now occurring in Argentina which are now impacting very beneficially on Eds fortunes,and we do own 50% of that company. And Mr Peter Earl is the VP!!!!

My thoughts exactly LB. Peter Earl is the VP of Energia del Sur,sure he knows about laon/interest payments holstering RURs coffers. Basically this man is on a mission,very intertwined indeed. RuRs jewel in the crown Eds, Earl VP of Eds Currently 54% of RUR on sale Going to get very interesting.

Reliably informed circa $70-$80M dollars,Also told it is one of the best performing energy companies in Argentina,and what do we own in that company,a 50% stake!! You could well be right on that GFD,and I would exopect the company soon to RNS details of.

£18M was the aggregate total for our three turbines,two new Siemens value written down to £7.5M each with the third a reconditioned model value circa £3M Two turbines deployed at Illapa and the third was last reported for deployment in Arica,not Africa. Regarding their values these were written down by a £1M,and as far as I am aware the write down values are the likely open market sale value. Having said that,it would depend on market conditions and or whether the owner wanted a quick settlement,obviously as in most transactions the buyer would try to get the best price possible,so lower offers would be tabled. Having said all that even with a further discount in those values,if indeed RuR were to go for a sale of one of more of their turbines,the combined valuations are substantial. Add to that our current valuations in Argentina re Eds,where we own a 50% operating entity, Eds owes RuR £30.7M in Capital and Interest,with last reports of £10M outstanding in monthly capital/interest payments. Add on our ongoing projects in Chile and Peru,and you can see that our assets are adding up significantly here. Our current Mcap of £8M is totally disconnected from our Net Value, I suggest scrolling through GFD and Spac3y posts as far back as possible,they are both long term holders whom both worked out their valuations for the compañy in November,and that was before the marked improvements in Argentina. Energia del Sur,is the jewel in the crown,with a great operating margin,and with the hike in electricity tariffs coming into effect on Monday will have a very beneficial effect on its revenues,Indeed the Merval stock market is surging and it is energy companies whom are taking the lead. All we now need is confirmation from the compañy highlighting what Eds are trañsferring per month,also expectation is that the 54% block is under offer or indeed sold. I always thought the company were bound by regulation to report those changes to us holders. it is quite literally a material change and a reluctance to inform the market of any improvement in the cash flows is thus affecting the sentiment and causing unnecessary scepticism,thus adversely affecting the current market in the stock Hopefully W H Ireland will react swiftly to your request and advise issuance of that important RNS. I do believe that started a few weeks back, Time will tell,I wish you all the best with your stocks,after all we are all trying to make some money here,otherwise why go through all this hastle so to speak. My father who passed away last year never liked share,,trouble was I was put into a business at an early age and was told day one by my late great uncle that from that day I would become a Capitalist. How true that turned out and in my younger life that's all I strived for,but luckily I broke away and started a new career which in many ways opened up my eyes,there are many more important things in life,but always comes down to money as a necessity. Lets all make enough hopefully to enjoy ourselves as well,and to be honest you don't need too much of that in reality ,lifes too short. OK take it easy BTW I was a toddler in the 60s but my parents certainly enjoyed that decade,poor mother had three babies in nappies!)))

With respect to you, I have since September built up a large holding,buying initially from 0.7p and added last week up to 1.6p I am not and do not intend trading my holding,I have a clear exit point at a substantially higher SP,infact I shall probably sell half and let the rest run free That of course dependant on the way this develop. Like in any investment as you well know there is risk and particularly so on Aim,I have not always been successful and have made losses as other have in the recent turbulent period. My calculations on my reward/risk for this share are no different from my other investments,in researching the company with RNSs,scrutiny of all financials,and fundamentals.Also considerable time and effort researching from other sources,taking a proactive approach and looking at all angles. My positivity here is not only based on what information we have from the company alone but e eternal economic factors come into play too. Taking a macro view of RuR given the amount of information available it is very clear that the company is currently trading at a very substantial discount to its true realisable value,that said dependant on news that is way overdue by the company the reward here in my opinion justifies my large stake. As GFD and other long termers have reiterated their very cautious valuations on the stock,and those values pre the Argentinian economic changes it has reinforced my own judgement on the current upside here currently to those figures which range from 3.6 to 5.6pps. Obviously those valuations are significantly lower than the last reportable NAV of 7.5pps given by the company y last September,. Given my positivity on the stock and the very large holding I have here now I have the right to aire my views and opinions,I post positively about the economics in Argentina and the likely effect on RuRs fortunes,and I have posted my opinions on the likely sale of the Sterling block. I never have ever told anyone to buy,or try to deceive any potential investors unlike so many on other boards,that's not my character,however as you know if I am slated for my views I will justify them and will fight my corner if I am provoked. I do respect you,like you I am quite senior in years and its not my character to abuse others through posting. I have lost on shares like most but I do not post on those BBs to deter investors,or to vent my anger towards other investors whom currently hold that stock. After all no one other than myself pressed the Buy button. Finally no one knows exactly the outcome here,I'm heavily invested at IMO a very good entry point and holding a good average and I do forsee a very positive outcome for myself and other holders. Agree also that the free float is very small together with the main stake holders there are a handful of Private investors carrying large holdings,thus with the news that one expects we can in the flick of a switch return to a minimum of the year high,and that still would give a valuation at a then marked discount to our true valuation. Should all become very interesting here at anytime.

It is apparent that our valuations of our entities in Argentina have been upgraded somewhat since the changes in Argentina. Eds is a high net worth entity,and Bloomberg reported yesterday that Marci is implementing tariffs up to 300% on electricity prices,as early as the 1st of February.,which obviously will have major financial rewards for our 50% owned partnership. Things are starting to look positive for RuR,and am sure that's going to be reflected in news that we are now long due from the company.

I think if that was the case the company would snap them up. We just need news to clarify all points that we all raise, Specifically monies owed and repatriated and to what extent. Sterling paid 9pps for that block,the administrators have a duty to realise as much as possible for its stake holders. Time will tell,let's see the RNSs,that all we can do. Atb
