When BT took over EE it was a fixed line company merging with a mobile company and the VM/O2 merger was the same; A merger between Vodafone UK and Three UK is a merger between two of the top 4 MNO's, it completely changes the Mobile Network Operating landscape. In Vodafone's case I agree with the buybacks, whereas I disagree with Lloyds buyback policy; Vodafone needs to purchase stock at cheap valuations to cover Hybrid Bonds, whereas in Lloyds case I think they should have just bought back stock to cover block listings, and returned more in dividends.

Nvidia's results have beat expectations, but only just, currently down around 3% in after hours trades. They want to use Nvidia to pump the rest of the Mag 7, but they may struggle to squeeze much more share price accrual out of Big Tech. Personally I think US tech stocks are ridiculously expensive anyway, the current prices are reminiscent of the dot com bubble. Companies like Crowdstrike demonstrate what I'm talking about, even though they caused the biggest IT outage ever, their share price is still up on a 1 year chart and doesn't reflect their fundamentals compared to other sector valuations, like Telecoms.

This is total BS, Nvidia is being hyped because they probably know the results are going to be good. It's like pumping a film before it's released into the cinema, except in Nvidia's case it's already gone stratospheric; So this extra hype is probably about pushing the share price into orbit, or beyond.
