I get it, it's a high risk AIM stock and high rewards can be gained on sentiment alone, but in reality it's a Wing & a Prayer investment.

DSFLAT is entitled to express his own opinion, without receiving abuse, as much as anyone else on here. As far as who has and hasn't run their own business is totally irrelevant. The point DSFLAT was making is that the 30% efficiency algorithm probably has competition and there's no guarantee it will ever be utilised.
When it comes to Quantum computing, commercial applications are years away and it's likely the first commercial successes will be on machines the size of 1980's mainframes and involve apportioning time to various science applications around medicines, molecular biology, material science, etc, Bitcoin mining will be a long way down the list of worthwhile uses for computer time. As far as on-chip Qubits, like all other Quantum advancements it's still many years away and any machines will be expensive should they even manage to get the technology to work properly.
In summary there's no guarantee that Quantum computers will become available in the foreseeable future, and it's unlikely Crypto will be a first choice application for running on them.

I think you mean Dr Grover. Quantum computing is years away, it wouldn't surprise me if every Bitcoin will have been mined by the time it becomes feasible to mine Bitcoin using Qubits, maybe there'll be other uses for the algorithm.

I disagree with that statement, the fundamentals will only change with an increase in Revenue and a move from loss to profit. Anything involving patents and company announcements, like the recent Grover release, can only drive sentiment and doesn't change the company fundamentals. I wouldn't disagree that sentiment may have changed, but sentiment isn't fundamentals.

If you want a response, you should stick to the subject of Crypto, or QBT; It's all I'll give a comprehensive response to going forward.

Congrats on the increase, it makes no odds to me what the price of QBT does, yes I'm interested in the stock from a philosophical perspective, but I wouldn't invest here if it dropped to 0.1p, I'm just fascinated by the crypto world and associated stocks. I'm of the opinion that the industry will end in tears, but as a watcher and not directly invested, I can enjoy the ride whichever way it goes.

To do that it would have to rise 100 feet, highly unlikely, sorry to disappoint.

US FUNDS AREN'T ALLOWED TO INVEST DIRECTLY IN CRYPTO.

Blackrock Global asset fund will be trading in Cash settled future options, not directly in Bitcoin.
Grayscale have tried, without success, to have a spot ETF approved by the SEC and it has been repeatedly rejected. A spot ETF would have allowed direct investment into Bitcoin, so far US regulation only approves crypto futures options, as I understand it. The SEC views direct Crypt investment as prone to fraud and manipulation and is therefore unlikely to allow direct investment into Bitcoin.

Sticks and stones Starship, just filter me if that's what you think. If I've got an opinion to share, I'll say it in a polite way and back it up with an explanation. Just because I take a different view to many vested interest posters on here, doesn't make my opinion any less valid. Instead of shutting me down, you should present arguments disputing my view, preferably with evidence backing up your view. I'll leave it at that for now.
