I wasn't going to post any more on here, but you guys just wont lay off from having a go at me, so If you want me to tell you why I'd never invest in QBT, here it is:
It was a company primarily investing in retail and leisure, their words not mine, and then renamed to Quantum Blockchain Technology all of a sudden becoming an R&D company.
Three buzzwords, Quantum, Blockchain and Technology, all associated with hype and inflated stock prices; Must be a good investment, right?
The revenue of the company is pitiful, currently and historically, and if they do have any killer products, which'll increase revenue massively, I don't see any evidence either online or on their website.
Revenue for 2021 was €9K with total expenses of €4.985 million, of which €2.969 million were Director Emoluments, clearly wages and benefits far outweigh any revenue. If you go back as far as 2017, they show losses year on year, mostly in the millions, with the best year being 2019 where they managed to generate revenue of a whopping €13k and only showed a loss of €624k for the year.
The only kind thing I could say about them, going off their results, is that it's incredible they've managed to keep drawing in investment year on year, while generating next to no revenue. Of course all this is just my opinion, but I don't see any investment case even for a punt, but what do I know.
