The division key objectives are:
1. To perform an analysis of the factory technology in the establishment of petroleum-processing plants and to deliver recommendations.
2. To ensure compliance with Petroleum law, standards, rules, regulations, templates and other related legislation, as well as any resolutions and decisions passed by the government or public administrative agencies.
3. To manage the construction of infrastructure and operationalization of petroleum extraction sites.
4. To implement policies on expediting the exploitation of petroleum and increasing extraction output.
5. To monitor the exploitation of petroleum sites and the quantity, storage and transportation of the unprocessed oil allocated to the Government of Mongolia.
6. To monitor all investment activities in relation to petroleum extraction and cost-recovery expenses and to perform technical assessments for confirmation.
7. To ensure compliance with the product-sharing agreement, to monitor and support the implementation process.
