Well what do we think the bog day will bring? I don't think there will be any DHSC news which has been specifically held for this date, though I do think we might get some authorisations granted (thinking of the UK home use as mentioned by DAM). The Orient Gene packaging might not even get a mention as I'm not sure we'd started it by this financial period. So I guess it depends on how much Surescreen have been paying us . . . and I haven't a clue what that will be.

I think it's clear that Orient Gene is nothing to do with the big DHSC contract now (they might have been introduced by them though). I emailed Paul about this and I've seen several other people who have reported the same today. He said it was a short-term project and isn't a significant contributor to revenue or profit, hence no RNS. So it's probably another Surescreen type arrangement. Another false start for ODX!!!! Can't be many left now until the real one....

CaptainsSwag: This is the email I received from Dam on Fri:
"Yes we are now the official partner with Omega. The test kits are currently for in clinic testing only however in the next coming weeks, we will be offering home use test kits. However, hopefully by next week when we are able to push the Omega test kits out in the UK, they will be for in-clinic until we update the system. If you are interested in purchasing these kits let me know."

So I'm not sure why people seem to think next week is def - but it is looking good that we will be getting Home Use in the next 3 weeks now. In Clinic in the UK will be ready by teh end of next week by the sounds of DAM''s email.

I still don't think OG is part of the DHSC contract though - I think what has happened is that the DHSC has put ODX in contact with the likes of OG to package their tests/maybe manufacture them, but the OG license is ending at the end of Jan 22 I think.

Things are certainly looking a bit better now though. GLA.

Good luck to you Mattyboy. i really hope this works as we all expect. Yesterday caught all of us off guard I think, and I hope Shuan gives a good explanation of why he did this in the AGM. To those who say "why didn't he do this when the price was higher?" - Well, Shaun only took over at the height - if he had done a placing on day 1 of his career at GGP I think would have spooked us all a lot. Plus "we all have a PHD in hindsight!"

Thanks Tricky. THe simple question then comes into play: why is there no RNS? This is def game-changing news if it is the case. I don't think an NDA can cover something of this magnitude frankly. I imagine some people must have emailed Paul at Wallybrooke. It will be interesting to see what they say. Cheers.

Right - just seen another Twitter photo that does indeed look like OG. But this doesn't mean DHSC contract has been engaged (that would def be RNS), as DHSC contract is for home use.

Am I being a bit slow here but how do we def know we are now producing OG? I can't make sense of that Tweet - the photos aren't in focus.
As I understand OG is only allowed to be used via test and trace granted under the Emergency Use. But the DHSC contract for ODX was for home use. So what is actually going on here?

I see where you are coming from Matml74. Maybe the banks want to see GGP taking more risk on the drilling to qualify and to do that they needed the extra funds? Hopefully we'll get an answer soon. Thanks.

Yes I agree Academy - think this placing was needed to increase our cash position to qualify for a banking loan.

That sums me up to too Tig. Not bothered by the placing volume, just the way it's been done. Questions for Shaun at the AGM I think!

This is a tiny placing of less than 5%. It gives us cash to explore the wider Hav area quicker. My gripe is that it was done at this price, and in this manner, as it doesn't paint Shaun in a good light. Hopefully now a road block will have been overcome however and we can move on with it and see fairer value coming up. I think we'll recover these losses pretty quickly to be fair.

Maybe this will clear the way for more rapid upside in the SP though? Now it's out the way and the II have their discounted entry, hopefully we can stop being held back and reflect true value.

True - Let's just hope their version of Lord Bethnall has rocked up with a fast track for testing purchases!!!

I think it would be too early for the trade show to yeild a deal for an RNS wouldn't it? These deals would need long winded legal terms . . .

I believe ODX are still waiting on the money from Abingdon that the govt have withheld? It's not entirely inconsequential. Cheers.

If your MP is one of the new Red Wall tories then they are probably spitting teeth at Johnson's ineptness with this scandal. The FT reported that a few days ago - how the new bunch want to purge some of the older Tory members who are too divisive.
