What's your average now Twatcher if you don't mind me asking? Mine's £0.63. Thanks.
Calderkate: "Why don't you sell some of your other shares with the money buy some more here at these bottom prices then your average must come down and then you can sell here quicker when it next rises above your average."
I can't speak for Mr India, but I will admit I've thought of doing this, and to a degree I have already done so (picked some up in the low 40s to help av down). BUT: I do not wish to commit anymore to ODX, and I certainly won't be selling other stocks to throw into this - the company's performance and comms to date don't warrant that in my view. And, more importantly, if you look at the chart of ODX over the last 6 months, we've had several spikes: In April, May, June, and the most recent in August. But on each occasion they have been less gains on each one, and they are coming further apart. It's a sign that investors are losing patience and growing more cautious about jumping in to any lift. Frankly, if there is no concrete development by late October then I fear Omega will have missed the boat on any UK production, and indeed the wider Covid opportunity. It really is beyond time they delivered.
"Remain in his position?" It'll be worse for him than that if he's found to have misled investors.
Cool - can someone please the video onto Colin so he knows what to do? Cheers
Thanks Oakhurst - so we're presuming that SS are manufacturing at current full capacity of 28million? But we know they were paid £25 mill last month, so that's prob not (hopefully!) for 28million tests. I reckon it might be more accurate to go on that basis rather than staff numbers - teh key is how much the govt are paying SS per test, and I don't know what that is. Cheers.
Hi Oakhurst,
Good detective work starting this thread. However, can I ask how you arrived at Omega's 11m cassettes a month?
"Work that back to Omega …. We are currently producing 11M a month of cassettes, which kind of stacks ?"
As far as I know we haven't been informed what proportion of SS output we are helping with - or have we?
Thanks.
Hi Speedy. Hope you are well with your land and your gold!!! (You should have been a Mycenaen King).
I know you are hot for Britannias, but would it not be more advisable getting the smaller denominated sovereigns? Let's say the world goes to hell in the next year and inflation hits 5-10% in the UK and for a year or so some products vanish entirely. Would it not be better to have smaller gold coins to carry out transactions with rather than the mighty 1oz? (I'll admit this is a mad max scenario and I don't expect things to get so bad - but you never know). Basically, having smaller coins it's easier as a method of exchange.
I think the best we can hope for is that SureScreen's Derby factory burns down! Then we might be in with a shot!
Good call Tricky. I recall one night waiting for him to announce 3 tests that were highlighted for UK use way back in this year - it never seemed to happen.
THanks Senza but that doesn't say the UK and USA have run out at all. Cheers.
Hi Wadogara. Where is this source that we've run out of LFTs? Doesn't appear on Google news or the FT or even the Guardian....(that I can find). Thanks.
This is something I think will happen, especially with the immunity, case rates, and vaccinatiosn in the UK. And I think spring is correct as well.
A good thoughtful tweet Bigbangs. Thanks.
I too am waiting for the 'big one' to land. I do think if it's not in by mid-Oct then we need an explanation however. Thanks.
Thanks Bigbangs: To me it implies that they aren't on the same page as the investors with the information they believe they have released as to what they have released. I know people believe we were in an NDA with SS - (I'm not sure if that's been confirmed?), but to claim they informed us of Surescreen on the 07th when they blatantly didn't (and perhaps were not allowed to) I just find irritating. And the SP doesn't seem to find it agreeable either. The bigger point though is now that we are hopefully out of any NDA territory, does this mean we've reached time for launch???? Cheers.
Okehurst: Yep I agree it is very positive. Hopefully DHSC will make their move in the next week or two. Cheers.
Thanks Oakhurst. I take issue with the fact their tweet says: "As announced on June 7, we were delighted to provide @DHSCgovuk with cassetting and pouching services for @SureScreen's test."
The June 7th announcement makes absolutely no mention of SureScreen. I know many of us thought it was them but we couldn't be sure. It's this shoddy use of messaging that is allowing doubt to creep in.
I agree with that Bigbangs. I don't see any takeoever on the cards at the moment.
...which would usually mean the share price going up over a number of days and weeks....hmmmmm? I guess we're still waiting for Big Bill and his globalist elite to turn up! )Alas).
