Also I think if you buy more than 10k of gold per year you have to register your details to go on a 'govt list' I think.....(will make it easier for them to try and confiscate it all when it all kicks off!)

Fair call Mush - I've just reviewed my posting history and it turns out I'm deluded: i think the closest I can claim was my comment on 21.09.20 - but it is a rather sweeping range that required the SW update being published: (It is interesting looking at your comments and hopes over the last year - my April rough prediction has been surpassed, my more recent Sept one might come in January 2021 with SW, the Oct one anticipated a bidding war which I'm not sure will happen now with teh JV.

29.04.20: 60P WOULD BE incredible - I had 25 - 30p booked in after the MRE for later this year.

21.09.20: Thanks Joe - sorry I was away from the board with less important issues. (Just wasted 15 mins watching covid update - nothing new in it at all for all the hype yesterday!). Could I ask what your target price is? Mine depends on a few things and how good they turn out to be: Scally drills, Broker note updates (pending one at 35p I think), MRE. Looking 45-65 by year end. 23.10.20 Basically, if we hit good results in the prospects, and H keeps growing after next week's update, then I think we could be 55-75p by year end. A bidding war could push us over £1.00 if other prospects look good.

I like that Bamps. Good mention of 'tin pest' - there was a legend that Napoleon's Grand Armee that marched on Moscow had their buttons made of tin which became brittle and broke in the cold months. Hi Urban. I had always understood that price senstive info had to be released. Although I am sure there are caveats for that (e.g. the JV with NCM in our other regions - they prob had an inkling of what's there). So how do they determine when to release what is clearly price senstive info? (Not having a dig in a any way). Cheers

Flash by name and nature officemanager! I wasn't actually claiming to know when it's coming. But we've been informed that it is likley to be before the end of the year, so for me that means tues or wed next week for my bet. And DGR - I think they do have half an eye on SP reaction - not to the extent where it dictates news (which would be illegal), but I think GH is aware of it. After all, they benefit from a sustained increase over time not spikes, so keeping sentiment positive is a key responsibility.

I don't see SW results today - but I think before year end is 90% on the cards. SO that leaves next week up unti midday on 24th. I don't think anyone would release such news on the 29th and 30th as there isn't enough attention in the market, or time, to get the most of potentially game-changing results. SO maybe Mon or Tues next week. Not sure if the appointment of the new CEO has anything to do with it as he takes over in March, way after results expected.

I rerally do wish we hit Hav x 2 on SW, but I think people need to temper their expectations. SW to me has always been more a copper play than gold - so I don't think we will get the grades we saw at Hav. Hope I'm wrong - although a tier 1 copper find would be immense - as the world's running out of it!

Just topped up a little with money I sold from ODX last week in case of a no deal brexit. Alas it was originally GGP money when I took a small amount out of to av down in that one. But with the fund buying in this week, and SW due, this is looking good. Good luck to GH and his future plans - what a guy!

i think we'll have to wait to see waht the outcome of BREXT is tomorrow. In 24 hours time this should be clear. GGP 'might' do well out of a no deal - the pound will fall against gold/dollar, the wider market will tank temporarily, maybe by as much as 10-20%. I sold some of my ODX shares because of this on Friday - BUT I have not sold a single GGP share due to Brexit fears. Maybe I made a mistake (hoping there will be a deal to be honest), but I want cash to react to any opportunities and to safeguard against a sudden no deal drop. BUT: I don't know how a no deal would affect GGP. Gold would go up i guess, and with the fund buying in we might be protected from it. GLA.
