Three targets have been partially tested by seven drill holes, of which results for three drill holes are reported today: LOD001 on the London prospect, KRD001 on the Kraken prospect, and BLD001 on the Blackbeard prospect for 1,919m of drilling. Samples from a further four drill holes for 1,842m are currently with assay laboratories, which are experiencing high sample deliveries resulting in significant delays in return of results.

After reading that RNS I tried to sell £15ks worth (my original invest) which I had in mind for some weeks now anyhow. Tried to sell as a view to getting back in later after the drop - but I got stuck on order and called II to cancel it from going through at a price not of my choosing . Never mind. Probl overblown sell off as it's only a few holes in such a large prospect and there are newer targets to come. Need to let the geos look at the results as well. GLA.

I did well on SOU oil years ago but it was only a tiny capital amount as it was too volatile. But then I did also miss out on it doubling in a very shot time. I'm out of oilies now having been burned too much - and hte best investments I've ever made are 'sitting on hands' approach. I did trade Barc and FTSE 250 back in March for a bit, couple of times making 5% in a day, but then came into GGP.

Havieron Project receives regulatory and funding approval

Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX, TSX, PNGX: NCM) is pleased to announce that the Newcrest Board has approved A$146 million (~US$112 million) for the construction of the box cut, exploration decline and associated surface infrastructure at the Havieron Project in Western Australia, which it owns in joint venture with Greatland Gold plc (Greatland Gold). This funding approval follows receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals to commence these construction activities.

I'm no geo but given what you've said: " Swag is all located on intersection of some well imaged linear magnetic anomalies which are likely the fault conduits that carried the ore bearing solutions" - does this mean that, in theory, we have a more accurate way to target the higher grade areas? So if we drill into the conduits are we more likely to hit ... gold? And is this what they have done on the first few drills? Cheers.
