Even if Cosmens wanted to buy more there is hardly any free float left and you create free float with a bit of panic sale.
The last few weeks the volume was anaemic and they need some funds to sale in order for them to be able to buy the quantity they want.
I reiterate my view from 2 weeks ago.
Fall on results and after for a while, Cosmens increasing , bid incoming before half year results around 110p I would say.
They sell NA themselves and recoup most of they spent.
Well..not a lot to take home from the presentation.
Only way we make a return on our investment is a buyout or wait until the end of FY2025 when we can actually see a decent improvement.
I still think this will get taken out as Alsa is a cash machine and Cosmens really want it.
Buy it as a whole, sell NA, franchise UK and maybe exit Germany all togheter.
Wealth- Even if they don't and up selling NA would that be such a bad think?
It will not in my opinion as revenue its increasing and as soon as margin recovers there will be enough cash flow left to manage the debt and pay some of it down as well.
They don't have an issue paying the interest as we speak and if margin recovers which it will IMO there will be cash left over to repay some of it.
I think with NA sale they are waiting for margin recovery so they don't have to sale at a cheap valuation which I think is the right think to do.
Once thinks recover they can get a better price and if they don't get a decent offer just keep it and pay down debt slowly.
Most of it its fixed debt so not a major issue short term.
Its the first decent update they had in 1.5 years.
Inflation messed everything up however is the beginning of the recovery cycle and we should see a lot of improvement in 2025.
If you have the patience to wait I think any shares at this price will give everyone a decent return.
