The Monarch collapse was handled reasonably well with all of the short haul fleet, inbound passengers and crews back in the UK I believe before the plug was pulled; not sure about the long haul operations.
In another failure about 10 years ago, crews were stranded overseas and had to rely on other airlines to assist and get them back

That was the root cause - Thomas Cook/First Choice merger as proposed was the optimum leaving Thomson almost having to merge with MyTravel/Airtours to maintain share and position.

I did not see a timetable for any additional payments to be received; assume it will be on deliverable progress? Also, the loan, if drawn on, needs to be repaid by December.

Water under the bridge but go back to the ill-conceived merger with My Travel in 2007 and ask whether sufficient due diligence was performed - the merger with First Choice at the time would have been a better option leaving TUI/Thomson needing to merge with My Travel.

Was looking for a breakdown of the estimated value of the aircraft. Many of the owned aircraft are older whilst the newer fleet are operating leases. Just trying to get a better understanding of the valuation.

Cannot see any detail as to how the £553M is calculated. £223 M stated as Finance lease debt as at March but does not state how much of this is against aircraft.

Go back 10+ years when the wrong merger choice was made to see where the blame lies

Most of the TC UK Fleet is leased not owned so little asset value there

Depends if, or where, EZJ are hedged at.
It is the silly season for airline bankruptcies and would hope that EZJ are well placed to withstand this.

Still no update on current Trading since March 16 or Results dates in the RNS. Am I missing something?

AM quite new to all this but saw this on another site: "The London Stock Exchange does not disclose whether a trade is a buy or a sell so this data is estimated based on the trade price received and the LSE-quoted mid-price at the point the trade is placed. And another 6% today - would like to hear something from the company even if it is some dates for announcements or to promote that they are participating in that conference

Not too sure! - thought there would have been interim or annual update due but cannot see any schedule on the website. Any thoughts as to timing?
