"Work has commenced on an update of the Preliminary Feasibility Study to model the production of higher value lithium hydroxide due to its increasing use in lithium ion batteries. This study will be finalised over the coming two months.
Leach recoveries of 94-95% lithium have been replicated in recently completed confirmatory laboratory scale roasting and water leaching tests in Germany. Locked cycle testwork will commence post the lithium hydroxide study to model the selected route.
Permits have been granted for the commencement of geotechnical drilling at the project."

Volkswagen officials confirmed that the new pack, which its Braunschweig, Germany, facility can produce at volumes up to 500,000 battery packs per year, will be offered in three battery capacities. but dont forget skelly , you have to repatriate that from US dollars to Aussie dollars where our tax will be applied and divide that by the number of share holders in EMH $276 Million Aussie dollars

skelly I believe hydroxide is about $20 k a tonne the price difference I think would be half profit so another 2 grand a tonne , a lazy $45 mil

Average lithium carbonate production increased from 20,800 tpa to 22,500tpa announce a few weeks ago and that extra pays for a third of the capex aprox . Now add the extra profitablity of hydroxide and bang probably half of the capex

Lithium China spot prices down again, as global contract prices rise. The gap has now narrowed.
